Amazing hotel, million dollar view
Reviewed By LCorakThis was the third time our group has stayed here, and without exception the service, rooms, food has been outstanding. The rooms facing the city offer the most spectacular view of Guaranda. The dining facilities, pool, and lounge upstairs offer amazing food. This is a small hotel, and they naturally make you feel like an extended part of their family. Beautiful place, beautiful people. Highly recommended!!

Luxury at a budget price, and a very kind owner
Reviewed By Beth PI loved my stay at La Rustica. It's incredible good value. The owner is a friendly local woman, a retired teacher, who is incredibly kind. The rooms are stylish and immaculate, with very comfortable beds, decorated with original local art and interesting antiques. To combat the chilly nights, the hot water is excellent and each room has its own fan heater. Transport can be arranged to Chimborazo ($25) and the owner works with Salinas Andes Tour, a community tour operator in Salinas de Guaranda.

No lo recomendaría :(
Reviewed By Pamela BNo lo recomendaría ya que no había agua en la ducha, la tele no funcionó, el baño estaba tapado. Tuvimos que subir nosotros solos las maletas al 3er piso pues el ascensor todavía está en proceso de instalación. Nos despertamos tarde y no alcanzamos al desayuno que se sirve hasta las 9 AM y la respuesta ante nuestra solicitud de ayuda fue "si no siguen las indicaciones es una pena". Podían ser más amables pero nos trataron pésimo. Les sugiero que mejoren en todo sentido para que los huéspedes tengan una mejor experiencia y sobre todo la calidad de atención del personal que es peor que no tener agua, ni baño,ni tele. :(

Reviewed By ivaneroggEl dueño nos ofreció una habitación con 3 camas y al momento de concretar la reserva nos envía un contrato trucho al e-mail con un cambio a 2 camas diciendo que "dos personas entran en una cama de plaza y media" y que si queremos así bien o nos vayamos a otro. Para colmo, carísimo $90 la noche! TERRIBLE ESTAFA, FALTA DE SERIEDAD Y MALTRATO AL CLIENTE. Guaranda es una localidad increíble y hermosa para el Carnaval (el mejor del Ecuador). Simplemente evitar este Hotel y su irrespeto.
