Ta' Maria B&B is a farmhouse of the 19th century. Set in the open countryside, it is located in Ghasri, the smallest village in Gozo. In 7 minutes, you can walk to the bus stop for links with Victoria. Ta' Maria offers 2 terraces with tables and chairs, and an outdoor swimming pool, open all year. The rooms are furnished with antiques, and offer a private bathroom. Some rooms have air condition which is at an extra daily charge. Free Wi-Fi is available at reception. A sweet and savory buffet is served daily, in the former mill with fireplace, or by the pool. Cakes and jams are homemade, by the pastry chef. Bus 308 connects the village with Victoria, 3 km away. From Victoria, it is a 15-minute ride on bus 301 to reach Mgarr ferry terminal.

Reviewed By Exploration283815A magical place! Singing birds, quiet very peaceful area. Maltese-style villa decorated with taste. Rooms spacious bed very comfortable, the bathroom toiletries every day, clean towels, daily service. The hotel has a lot of common spaces in the building and outside in the evenings you can sit and relax after sightseeing. Breakfast is completely sufficient (cold meat, cheese, fried or scrambled eggs with extras, bread, sweet options such as yogurt, fruit, jam, cake for coffee and of course coffee / tea) and everything is fresh and tasty. There is a swimming pool and grill at guests' disposal. You can also freely use the kitchen. The hosts, I don't know where to start, Sonia was very helpful, she gave us all the necessary information and patiently answered all our questions. She made sure that we knew everything, helped rent a car from a trusted rental company. Everything was done without any problems and without a deposit. Victor is a very charming, super funny man and also has a lot of historical knowledge! If anyone wanted to talk or joke he always found the time. He gave us many tips where to go and what to see. At breakfast he always entertained us with stories but not pushy as he saw discreetly made sure that no table was missing anything. Ladies from the staff (sorry but I do not remember their names) always smiling, with a heart prepared breakfast trying with the utmost care to take care of empty stomachs of guests. To the city of Victoria 7 min by car but you can also take the bus stop is very close to the B&B

Reviewed By Dolfin1234At first glance all seemed spacious & average in the 1 Bedroom Maisonette. When we walked in the bathroom it stunk like hell. The bath mixer & sink taps all corroded plus the shower head hardly does the job. On the whole the bathroom could be all renovated. After an hour in the place I got bad hay fever. Ceiling fans & insect screens where filthy. Extra pillows in the wardrobe where damp & stinky. One armchair had big stains too. As for the kitchen I only trusted to use the kettle & mugs. Pool & outside area is very nice but rules are broken with people & kids playing ball & jumping in the water. Not the relaxing long weekend we needed & imagined so we left after 1 night. Not one staff member was seen so even Covid rules broken

VILLA AL FARO B&B situated in the beautiful village of Ghasri at the foot of the Gordan Lighthouse in the Gozo Region, 32 km from Valletta. Here you will find the ideal place for hiking. We have two private outdoor pools and a large rear-end terrace which overlooks the fields and Gordan Lighthouse, also with sea views. Rooms include a flat-screen TV and air conditioning and features free WiFi throughout the property and the pool. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. We offer an abundant breakfast for our guests. We also offer a dinner and BBQ meals if booked in advance.

Reviewed By Darren MWe have just stayed for the weekend at Villa Al Faro. We were a family of 10 and everything was just perfect. Perfect view, clean rooms and most of all the host Olga is excellent. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday. Keep it up.

Reviewed By jagger505This resort consists of about 50 different apartments, encircling a lovely pool area in a quiet small village of Gozo. Our two-bedroomed apt was indeed very large, comfortable and absolutely safe and clean. Would highly recommend it for families with children!
