Perfect, Comfortable and Beautiful

I am so pleased that we chose to stay here. From the very friendly, helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms and did I mention it's just across the street from Trim Castle! The view of the castle from our room it seemed we could just reach out and touch it. We also included dinner and WOW was it amazing. I also had emailed the hotel before we arrived regarding covid testing prior to flying back to the USA and they gave me a name of the local pharmacy that set us up for our test (5 min. walk from the hotel) made this process so easy and stress free. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect location to visit tayto

Reviewed By LMR610

Stayed in 2018 for a visit to tayto park and we were back again to visit tayto park this past weekend. I booked quite a bit in advance so got a pretty good rate so that and the close proximity to tayto park were the reason for booking. I remembered from last time the hotel is only average and it hasn't changed, I would say at best it's a 3 star. The room is a good size and beds were comfortable but no air con made for not a great night's sleep. There is a fridge in the room which is very handy. Visited the pool....its in need of a revamp. There is a lot of mold on the ceiling which looks really bad. Changing rooms are really bad we were told they r doing them up. Hopefully they will be a lot better in future. Breakfast was not good. Not much of a selection. Quality of the food is poor. We previously ate dinner in the restaurant and remembered it being poor so we booked dinner at 50fifty restaurant in ashbourne Town 5 mins drive away and it was fab...all 4 of us had 2 courses and food was amazing. Would totally recommend. The one thing this hotel has is going for it is the location for tayto park.

Overpriced .

Bedrooms very dated, in fact the entire hotel could do with a re vamp. Very limited parking for holding a wedding or function of any kind. The worst part was 4 or 5 couples were charged different rates for the same room, when questioned reception, s answer was Oh sorry, my mistake, REALLY ?????????????

We wanted somewhere close to family in the North West of Dublin. At 35 mins drive Boyne View was the perfect home from home. We stayed in one of the cottages. Set next to a working farm overlooking the River Boyne and just outside the picture postcard town of Trim, this place was everything we could ask for and more. Our host Deidre was friendly and welcoming. I expect we will be back at Boyne View again.
