handy position and good facilities

Reviewed By smwalker2022

I was visiting family in Chichester and this hotel is in a good position - not in the town centre but not too far out and close to the A27. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was good to be able to use the small swimming pool during my stay. The room was of good size and clean. My only issue was that the room was hot with no air conditioning or a fan so I had to open the window to sleep and was disturbed by a loud TV and a man speaking very loudly to his partner until 2am in the morning

Convenient but basic

Reviewed By davetops

Chichester Central is ideal for exploring Chichester and visits to the Festival Theatre. It’s pretty no frills though, with no eating facilities and our double room felt small and basic for the money. The free car park is useful, but entry to the hotel from it is pretty grim and dark. On the plus side the room was clean and served its purpose. It wasn’t great value but what it lacked in quality and facilities was made up for by its central location.

Great stay again!

Reviewed By L2954MXhayleyw

Me and my family spent another lovely weekend staying at the travel lodge arundel Fontwell park. From check in to check out the staff were amazing. Beverley greeted us and told us all we needed to know and made sure we were ok finding our room. Then when leaving to go out for the evening we couldn't work the vending machine and Oliver was on reception, he was so friendly and kindly helped us-great with the children too! On check out Eva was very chatty and polite and made sure we were happy with our stay. The room was spotless and was fully equipped. It is a great base if you are wanting to see all the lovely places near by. Will definitely be booking again. Also the stables pub is great for Sunday lunch and right next door!

Relax and Enjoy

I had a lovely Spa Treatment Massage done by Yas. It has been a very long time since I last had one and I have to say it was such a relief to get some knots unknotted. She and her colleague, Harriet were very reassuring, calm and polite allowing me time to get ready and to dress again afterwards. A much needed glass of cool water was provided before I headed upstairs for lunch with my Partner. LUnch was equally pleasant . In fact it was yum. The staff were attentive, again very polite but not at all 'in your face.' The décor is easy on the eye and comfortable. The Gorgeous Georgian building is ample splendour all on its own. We look forward to making a visit again.
