Reviewed By Atalanta8Full disclosure we had a suite, so I don't know what the hotel rooms are like, but our suite was ginormous, amazing, and romantic. My one complaint would be the makeup mirror which was too low to use while standing and didn't come forward enough when sitting. I see people poking at the Fascistic architecture, well what can I say, I LOVE Fascistic architecture! It's an amazing building. It would be beneficial to get a map of how to get to all the various pools. We felt a wee bit dumb asking for the 3rd time where the outdoor pool is becasue well you'd think it would be obvious but after roaming outside we still couldn't find it lol. Service was very good. When we arrived we had an issue with our jacuzzi, but it was promptly handled. We also found ourselves hungry one afternoon when it was too late for lunch but too early for dinner. We asked the bar if they had food. They very apologetically said no but that they had chips. We said ok to the chips. Waiter comes back with a large crackers, cheese, meat, and olive tray. We loved it but were confused whether this is just not considered food for Italians or what. It definitely saved us from being hangry. The breakfast is very nice and the dining room is magnificent. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and food was phenomenal. The beet risotto was amazing and I was skeptical about swordfish not liking it in the past, but who knew pistachios on it made it amazing. I'm going to go as far as to say it was the best meal I've had during my stay in Italy. The Sauna was so spacious and timing groups to use it separately was well organized by the lady who ran the spa. She was very nice and did her best to speak English which we appreciated. The town is super cute too. If you don't want to be in a parade of tourists in the larger cities come escape here.

A bit dated, but clean, good-value and dogs are welcome
Reviewed By lordarthasI spent a night at this hotel. When I arrived, I was welcomed by the night staff, who was very courteous and also happy to welcome my big dog. The room was clean and spacious, even though a bit dated. Bathroom was on the small side, with the shower built directly on the bathroom wall (no box), however it was perfectly usable. The view from the room, on the surrounding hills, was really nice! Breakfast was OK, and price very convenient.

Budget hotel , family-run, open all year. Quiet and panoramic position 350 meters from the spa and Wellness Centre. Local cuisine. All rooms with bathroom, air conditioning, LCD TV-SAT, balcony and free wi-fi internet. Ample parking and free city bike.Free garage for motorcycles.

It's a family run hotel: the owner is nice and helpful, and also likes to talk a lot. ;-) His father makes great cakes, which are served for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it is excellent, and they also care for gluten-free diet. As everything is Castrocaro, the hotel as an "old days" style, but it is very well kept and clean. Rooms are very nice: not huge, but big enough, with a good bathroom and a terrace (our had a nice view of the castle). Our dog, which is big enough, was very welcome! Price was a bargain, so I would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is clean and quiet, not far from the spa, the rooms, recently renovated, are large and clean. The hotel has a small garden in front . But what is super super is the food you eat here! The pasta is home made as well as the sauces. Twice a week you can eat fresh fish cooked in various ways by the cook in a spotless clean kitchen. The hiotel is family run and you can really feel a family atmosphere surrounding you. Very convenient prices Not to be missed if you go to Castrocaro.

Spotless and nice owners. Short drive down the hill into the lovely town of Castrocaro Terme and all it's great local restaurants. Super highly recommended. Posto magico con piscina e panorama. Tutti vanno a Toscana ma qui non manchi niente. Indimenticabile ?

The Castle was something out of a fairytale and my nephew and nieces felt like they were at hogwarts. We were treated like royalty , from the food to the cleanliness we were blown away. I’ve stayed in many places in Italy and to be honest nothing came close to this place. We had already booked for next July and a week in Christmas next year. I can’t say enough about this place. We are already counting down till next July.
