Great hotel. Lovely room. Great staff. Food very good. Price 3 days just over £500.00 bed and breakfast. Very good value. Just tried to book for April next year. The prices range from £800 fot basic room to £ 1030.00 for their best room. We we book no. It's a very nice hotel but must be the most expensive 3 star hotel in the England.

Our room was spotless with a comfortable bed, lovely bedding and fluffy towels. We ate lunch and breakfast which was well cooked and just what we wanted.

Fabulous stay

We stayed over the jubilee weekend and had an amazing visit. The team were amazing, so friendly and helpful (Chloe & Lianne looked after us in the bar). We stayed in Taynton, overlooking the High Street, bed was comfy and we slept like babies! Would also highly recommend eating here, both breakfast and dinner (the lamb was fantastic). Our only con was the shower wasnt great, but the room made up for it. A lovely town with lots of local shops and plenty of picturesque walks (and pubs to visit on the way). We cant wait to visit again on our next trip to The Cotswolds.

Loverly hotel let down by over priced drinks

The hotel staff what where did every thing to make us welcome it was under staffed the hotel it’s self was comfy . The down side which was not down to the staff was the bar was over priced . Example a pint of Guinness average price any where £4:30 gateway £5:75 . Large glass of wine £7: 80 average price else where £6/£6:80 . Plus Saturday nite the bar last orders 22:20 and Sunday nite last orders called at 21:20 so I will not be stopping at this hotel or any other in the group as felt ripped off

Excellent Stay

A beautiful pub set by the river, its newly refurbished to a high standard, the bedroom was comfortable and very clean, the shower room was great, again clean with lovely hot water. A good choice of breakfast, we ate in the restaurant one evening, the food was tasty. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. A perfect location too for visiting the Cotswolds. Only minus was the WiFi signal (couldn't watch too much TV because of that) and signal for data not great either in that area of the country!

Pleasant and peaceful

Very pleasant and peaceful stay at the Swan Inn Food is delicious and fresh. Service is great, staff are very friendly especially Donald who makes an effort to chat with the guests. Breakfast was delicious and again the staff were super helpful. Couple of things that stopped it being a wow stay. The bed in stable 1 is really uncomfortable and the pillows are like marshmallows. The room although clean in the main, there were cobwebs hanging from the spotlights and the skirting boards were very dusty. Also the waiting staff are keen to charge things to your room and we were not told that there is an extra service charge for doing this.

Beautiful old building, excellent location

Reviewed By Rona H

Very nice staff, cheerful and helpful. Room was small but comfortable, but extremely noisy as it was on busy road. When we told reception we couldn't sleep for the traffic noise all night long, they moved us to a quiet room, which solved the problem. Ask for a room at side of building. We managed to park in hotel car park. Breakfast was okay, but advise against vegetable sausages. Not luxury, but good for the price.
