Reviewed By eikichio524From the beginning to the end, this familly run hotel / restaurant was a perfect nest to explore the Chiemsee lake surroundings. The rooms was spacious , with beautiful view onto the lake. The bed was confit . We had breakfast inside , we enjoyed the spectacle the landscape offered to us. Breakfast buffet had a tasty selections. The menu presented a selection of traditional specialities , all really tasty. If in the area again, we’ll be back.

Reviewed By JackD59The rooms are in a nice and recently renovated farmhouse, in rural style. Extremely clean room, nice bathroom and an impressive breakfast served in the traditional "Stube". Frau Lechner welcomed us in a very friendly way and gave us excellent advice on where to go for dinner in the evening. The room had a nice private terrace as well, the weather in November did not allow us to take much advantage of it. Definitely worthwhile in summer. We were directed to this B&B by the local tourist board website, as in the second half of November most hotels were closed. A very fine discovery after the stunning visit to the castle of Ludwig II on the island in the Chiemsee lake.

Good hotel with good facilities near the Chiemsee
Reviewed By mkrijntjesWe booked this hotel quite late during the day which the hotel thought was quite funny. The hotel is situated in lush green fields in a landscape that is amazing in itself. A nice stop over if you are planning to visit the Chiemsee and/or the castle. Good facilities like a swimmingpool and sauna. Breafast was included and was sufficient, we stayed away from dinner as that didn't look so nice. Minor drawbacks were the payment for internet per device (no WIFI in room) and that there was no attendence at the desk after 18:00. All in all a very nice hotel.

You can get a marvelous breakfast for a perfect start in the day. Free WIFI. Honoured fridge. Check in evenings till 9 a.m. - Monday possibility for self-check in. No Restaurant anymore. Set Menue possible from Thursday till Sunday if booked in advance. We love to welcome you at our little Hotel

Reviewed By vernardbOur small holiday consisted of 3 nights and 4 days. The owner Herr Mehlhart greeted us and signed us in for our stay personally. Right away, we felt the warmth and genuine friendliness from Herr Mehlhart. We stayed on the second floor in the "Studio Apartment". Wow! Talk about Ole Style Bavarian charm. The room was very clean, we had fast and reliable WiFi and we had a balcony attached to our room. During our complimentary breakfast we met his wife Frau Mehlhart. She was the most charming and welcoming hostess we ever met. The breakfast were typical Continental but...you could have bacon and eggs your way as well. We experienced Bavaria and we decided to make this trip our annual pilgrimage. Please, you must place the Hotel Jägerhof on your bucket list.

Little contact with the people
Reviewed By FORZA7777We arrived here at 12:00. Unfortunately we could not check in by then. We were sent back with the message we had to return after 14:00. We returned at 18:30, got the key in the restaurant and including the minute we spoke somebody with the checkout that was all the contact we had. The room was good though. We had room 5, a family room, which is split in two parts with a door in between, excellent. Negative point was the dirty spot on the bet close to where you sleep with your head. We also could not find the code for the WIFI/WLAN and did not receive that at the check-in either. Because of the good breakfast I still rate the total to 4 stars here. But it's close to 3.

Reviewed By CzedeWir waren auf dem Weg zum Bayern Chalet in Ainring eine Nacht im Wastelbauerhof und hatten das Inselblickzimmer gebucht. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt im Wastelbauernhof wohl und ganz. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich eingerichtet. Es war sauber und das Badezimmer war praktisch gestaltet. Zu beachten ist, dass das Restaurant nur bis 18 Uhr bewirtet. Sofern man danach etwas essen möchte, sollte man vorher bereits bestellen. Dann wird es aufs Zimmer gebracht. Es gibt Ponys und Kühe auf dem Wastelbauernhof. Insbesondere für Familien ist der Wastelbauernhof zu empfehlen. Bilder vom Frühstück gibt es auch und eine Preiskarte von Kuchen und Essen habe ich auch abgelichtet.

The host family is very nice, kind and servicial. A very familiar atmosphere with lots of toys for the kids. The service was just great. All you need is there!!!

Reviewed By Kat_EhrnWir haben einen schönen Urlaub in Ferienwohnung 2 verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist wie das ganze Apartmenthaus super gepflegt und tiptop sauber. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist gemütlich und gut durchdacht. Sehr gute Ausstattung! Die Wohnung ist für vier Personen großzügig geschnitten mit Bad und separatem Gäste WC. Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs wie Spülmittel, Geschirrtücher, Spül- und Waschmaschinenpulver etc. sind auch bereits vorhanden. Parkplätze direkt vorm Haus. Herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, jederzeit erreichbar. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. In der Nähe gibt es verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die man gut zu Fuß erreichen kann ebenso wie Restaurant oder Cafe. Die Umgebung ist geeignet zum Wandern, Fahrradfahren und für Ausflüge in die nahen Berge; der Chiemsee ist mit dem Auto in ca 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Im Ort Bernau gibt es einen Minigolfplatz und ein Schwimmbad. Wir würden jederzeit wieder eine Wohnung im Apartmenthaus Chiemsee Hauszeit buchen und empfehlen diese Adresse gern weiter!
