Reviewed By John LSpent one night here from UK. Charming quiet country guest house with friendly hosts. Looked like some interesting walks in the surrounding countryside and mountains -maybe next time with more time. The advertising material and photos of the hotel do not do it justice at all and feel it would benefit from a more professional approach. Draw back for some maybe lack of wi-fi. Recommend a stay.

3 Month Stay at Kemikpark
Reviewed By domeskiHI, I stayed at the kemikpark from 03rd january 2022 until the 24th march 2022. For most of my visit i stayed in room D-23 which had a small kitchen and was on three levels. Very welcome for such a long stay. The kemikpark is well situated in Bartin and within walking distance of all local restauraunts and shops. The staff at the kemikpark are friendly and always available to assist at any time. The rooms are immaculate, clean and well kept at all times. The bed was also comfy and sheets changed regularly. The breakfast selection was also pretty good and the upsatirs breakfast areas has nice views over bartin. The food at the hotel was pretty good also and very well priced. They put on a special menu with varied selections. All in all i would reccomend the kemikpark to anyone visiting bartin and surrounding area.

Two cousins who have seen each other only on Bairam holidays and winter breaks since their childhoods decided to rescue their grandmother Rukiye Hanım’s old wooden house from burning down or collapsing, and they started the restoration process of the building as a first step. After that, everything occurred in rapid succession. The mansion kept calling for the two cousins… So a journey began. The rest of the story is is similar to the legend of Kaf Mountain where the sultan requests everything that comes to mind from the prince that his daughter is going to marry. The restoration process of Kaf Konak began in 2010. As a result of this process, the damages of time and the additions that have been made by the users have been eliminated. The mansion was restored to its original architecture. After that the techniqal equipment was installed according to the modern-day requirements with minimum interference and with respect to the architectural value of the mansion.

Reviewed By melisc2014Kaf Konak is a hidden gem in Bartin with friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay at this exact spot for future stays. Their bar/restaurant at the backyard is nice and comfortable with a nice garden view. We recommend their large rooms as there is more space.

Warm welcome, reviving authenticity
Reviewed By Talip KThis is a renovated house located in the center of Bartın. It has a history and nice story. Wooden parts are really beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Of course you need to be silent as the whole building is natural wooden structure. The owner Mr Metin bey is 85 years old real geltilman. You get a warm welcome at the reception. The breakfast is served with natural food. Me, my wife and daughter aged 4 enjoyed our stay very well. There is a nearby parking place if you arrive by your own car.

So bad
Reviewed By Halil EThat place is not a hotel. Basically it is a motel. Only difference is it has a little restaurant and a swimming pool. Rooms are disaster. Bathroom door sucks. It is not moving at all. All day and long water dripping from the loo. More over shower? It is something like shower but it is not at all. We went there 2 people and room prepared for 1. Walls of room like a paper and you can easily see the pool side from the holes. Window blind was missing and we need to hang a towel. Beds not comfortable at all. If you compare with price total disappointment. I never and ever go again.
