The staff really looked out for my wife and welfare in my absence for a few months. We just thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Would recommend room 308 on the third floor, great views. The location is pretty central with easy access to buses, taxis, and walking distance to down town. Was sad our time in Samoa was cut short.

Reviewed By Marise COur room was everything we expected, clean comfortable and air conditioned. The pool area is very beautiful and private. I can’t thank the staff enough, they certainly go the extra mile to be helpful. The restaurant is one of the best places to eat. Meals are varied and plated beautifully. We have stayed at this hotel twice now and can’t wait for the third holiday.

Authentic island stay

The views are absolutely exceptional, and the atmosphere was so lovely, nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Apia. We were always greeted with a smile and warm welcome by everyone that worked here, and were invited to join in for a traditional Samoan cookup (umu lunch), which will be an everlasting experience I’ll remember. Thank you so much to everyone at the lodge, for their hospitality, kindness and allowing us to have such a memorable time. We will be back again!! Also, their pets are wonderful and I became obsessed !!

Orator Hotel is made up with 27 Villa, 15 Double standard Villas, 6 Standard Villas, 5 Poolside Villas, and 1 Deluxe Suite. 3 tier Swimming pool for all types of people, 2 restaurants, and a bar. The atmosphere of the gardens all through the Hotel is an oasis. 10mins away from town you will find true beauty when you arrive, as the staff sing and are always happy to serve.

The garden is nice but that is really the only positive. Probably a good place to have an after work beer. Food is below average but acceptable if you are after generic pub food. However, on both visits at least part of the meal was cold. Staff are friendly but horribly incompetent. On one occasion they messed up the bill and it took half an hour to leave. Both visits saw the order messed up. I asked for vinegar for my chips and recieved a small bowl of dishwashing detergent. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I had already put this on my chips! It took at least an hour to get the horrible taste out of my mouth! They gave me a couple of free beers, but my learning curve is likely not shallow enough to return in the near future...

House keeping staff are excellent, it would have been better if the patrons read the pool rules. Still overal this hotel is value for money and has the cheapest bar in Apia

Talofa Inn is a suitable "home away from home" for tourists, business travelers, couples and families. We offer long term rates for 2 weeks plus stay. We can also offer corporate rates for long-term accommodation while working in Samoa. We offer six modern town rooms (3 double room en-suites, 1 twin room en-suite, 2 single rooms with access to own private bathroom), a dining room, fully equipped communal kitchen, lounge/TV room area, & a balcony area with bbq (gas & charcoal). Each en-suite is furnished with a sofa bed, and therefore able to accommodate up to 4 persons. We are centrally located to all amenities, including supermarkets, fruit & vegetable markets, fish and handicraft markets, as well as a range of cafes and restaurants.
For the start of my stay
Reviewed By saronicMy arrival at Samoa scheduled for 5.30am and the official check-in at the planned hotel at 3pm, I decided to book a reasonably priced accomodation already for the night that had passed. My choice fell on the 'Talofa Inn', mainly due to various positive comments. There had been quite a correspondance regarding the transfer from the airport by shuttle service, but that didn't work, so I took a taxi for WST 60, which was not too bad. After a nice breakfast with plenty of fruit, served at the table, I was shown room No 4, which was quite big, but facing the main road, with quite a lot of traffic during the day, but not too bad during the night. The accomodation in a quite central location consists of only 6 rooms, all quite different. There was a bathroom with shower attached, but the washbasin was in the bedroom. There was enough storage space everywhere. It had a bar of soap and in the shower a liquid soap dispenser. Shampoo has to be taken along. When I arrived the lady (Tsafea) told me that checkout is at 10am, but when I had a look at the contract and at the hotels information leaflet, it definitely said 11am. The next day another lady (Leausa) was in charge and I was able to leave my luggage by the reception until a taxi took me to my next accomodation.

Apia Su Accommodation is 10 minutes' drive from Vaiala Beach. It is 25 minutes' from Faleolo Airport. Each air-conditioned room offers a seating area, a wardrobe, a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. You can prepare an on-site meal using the shared kitchen, or visit local shops and restaurants within 10 minutes' walk.
Quiet at night, but the day.....
Reviewed By rushing-manWe decided to stay here for three nights during our time in Apia. For the most part we weren’t disappointed - the room was nice, the staff helpful and the location ideal. Location wise, the place is great. There’s a supermarket less than 50m in either direction from the front gate, the market across the road and the centre of Apia is less than 10 minutes away by foot. The room looked like it had recently been renovated. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning was a bit suspect at times but thankfully all of the windows opened to allow a cool breeze to flow in. When I booked the room mentioned it was self contained. When we got to the room it had a bar fridge as well as tea/coffee. Outside the room was a kitchen that was available for guest use - maybe that’s what they meant in the description. The disappointing part was the construction noise - which was mentioned to us by a note in the room rather than during checkin or better yet, via email in advance. The complex is extending which means there’s builders and related noise happening from 8am onwards. Add to this the painters painting the exterior of the resort. The flow on for guests is having to work around the builders/painters and deal with the noise during the day. The accommodation was at a cheap price - maybe that’s why. For the room and service alone, we’d stay again. Sadly the building works put a dampener on the experience - and given the progress, it’s likely to be a while longer before they’re finished.

The staff hospitality was exceptional to say the least and the location is excellent for being close to the heart of Apia.The amenities are what you would expect for the rates, bathroom modern and the room air con excellent. The continental style breakfast was adequate to keep you going till dinner.Must mention the coffee, better than most coffee spots on the island. Over all a very relaxing stay.
