Bröllopssviten är vårt paradrum men det finns fler comfortrum och vidare till standard enkel-/dubbelrum. I huvudbyggnaden serveras frukost men det finns också möjlighet att besöka baren, äta middag eller bara njuta i rustik bar- och loungemiljö.
Away from the world in historic building
Reviewed By erikl996It's been a while since I've stayed here, so time for a more up to date review. Beautifull old mansion located away from all main roads, directly on the lake. I've stayed in the main building and I was very happy with my room (nr 4). Spacious, comfortable beds, super large bathroom with bath and rain shower, authentic furniture and lovely view on the lake. The hostess is Dutch and very friendly and caring about your welbeing. Nice and complete breakfast, with lovely bread (unique in Sweden). We had dinner three times as we wanted to be able to have a nice glass of wine. As anywhere in Sweden, this is an expensive hobby, but their winelist is nice and their Whiskey bar is superb. It's not a design hotel, but just an authentic and welcoming place in nature. Try to stay in the main building and ignore the front buidlings, as they are of lesser level but more dedicated to business travelers from the main offices of IKEA. Warmly recommended.

In many ways, IKEA Hotell is just like any other hotel. We have comfortable beds, we tidy up your room and we offer a tasty breakfast buffet, like everybody else. But we have added a little extra something that we here in Älmhult are rather good at: a feeling of home. Welcome!

Reviewed By frizzy63We came all the way from Australia to check out this IKEA experience along with the museum. We were not disappointed. Easy access by train. We were greeted by friendly faces, our room was very clean with our favourite Poang chair in it. The common areas meant we could relax in comfort out of our rooms. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast had everything you needed. We were able to leave our bags there whilst we explored the museum and the local IKeA store. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay 2 nights. A wonderful experience for these Aussies

Reviewed By KarenS488Lovely little hotel at unique location. Very comfortable and clean room with spectacular view on the lake. The hotel is situated on the campsite of Älmhult, so there is plenty to do like: swimming, canoeing, sauna, minigolf, volleyball, large playground for the children…. Breakfast is at the restaurant of the campsite with view of the lake. The owner of the hotel and the lady of the restaurant are very welcoming. Also a great venue for large families or groups, because there are also many cabins for rent in different price ranges. We stayed here twice and we would really recommend this wonderful hotel.

Probably the best place in the region
Reviewed By ehssoadThe most well run B&B we have been to. Diana, the owner helped us tremendously. We lost our car keys on a bicycling trip?! She took her car and we went searching. And wow!!!! The keys were found two kilometers from the B&B. Thanks a million, Diana, for your help. And yes, the place is as good as everybody else says.
