Good value for money
Reviewed By shaghayeghkoupPetrozavodsk is quite a small city so this hotel was close to train and bus station, also the sea and the pier. There were 2 receptionists at the time of our stay, one, a very sweet girl who could speak English perfectly and was super helpful, the other who was unable to speak English and seemed quite hard to communicate with, though with the help of Google Translate I guess she could try to be more welcoming! The property was getting cleaned regularly by nice & kind staff

We are ready to offer you 14 comfortable rooms, which can accommodate up to 62 people. Main place - studio-kitchen where you can cook your own meals, you can watch movies, play PS3 or just chat with friends. There is free Wi-Fi in the entire hostel.

Reviewed By Nadja168Very nice hostel - nice location in the centre, close to Onega Lake and other sites, friendly staff, clean. IKEA furniture (not old), clean rooms, three showers, sauna, enough toilets, washer and dryer. You can wash your clothes at a price of 1.5 euros. Many food stores nearby. There is also a tourist information centre in 7 minutes walk with info in English about Karelia. What can be considered as a minus for some people, just a warning - the hostel is on the 4th floor (5th if you start with ground floor), no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage and you are spoiled, this may bother you ))) We did have heavy bags and were travelling with a small child, but the staircase was not a problem as I am used to heavy bags. Walls are painted in bright colours + drawings on the walls - fun! White nights in Petrozavodsk are really white, there are no blinds, bring your sleeping mask, if you have trouble sleeping without it. I stayed with a 4 year old child, the staff was nice not to accomodate other people with us although one day the hostel was really crowded. Awesome views on the sunset from the window. I am sure you will enjoy your stay. We paid a bit less than was stated in the booking form - we were told the prices went down, that was a nice surprise and never happened to me before.

Reviewed By Codrin GAwesome hostel. Everything nice and very clean. Beds have curtains for more privacy. Each bed has its socket so that you can charge your phone during the night while also keeping it close to you. Personal locker. Clean bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Staff was very friendly. The one of them spoke English so communication was no problem. The other one did not, but she could still help us out finding a restaurant by communicating over Google translate. Single weakness is position. It takes a 15 or 20 minutes walk to the docks where the boats depart for Kizhi island, which was our primary purpose of visiting Petrosawodsk. Otherwise, just perfect! Thank you very much!

Solid roadside motel
Reviewed By CraigmotoA practical clean and friendly motel. Quiet rooms despite being on the roadside and trucks idling outside all night in the parking lot. I rocked up both times quite late on my way through with no booking, and was well received. Often Russian hotels do not like surprise visitors, especially late at night. The cafe downstairs filled my thermos for the road with a smile and refused to take any money for the hot water. the interior is not as pretty as the photograph of the exterior, but it is perfect for a sleep and shower to continue a road journey.

Decent hotel
Reviewed By Jp mPrizes were decent, rooms sizeable and beds are also soft and cozy. Also receptionist allowed our crew in around 7:00 though check-in time was to start at 14:00. Everything went smoothly and staff seem to be nice. However walls seems to be quite thin so you can hear what is happening in corridors which could disturb some. Location is also bit wierd as you'll have to enter this property through short sandroad which goes through construction area and on the next side you have some old wooden buildings. Mukavanoloinen hotelli hyvään hintaan ja pehmeillä sängyillä. Hinta on hyvä (n. 10€ per hlö kahden hengen huoneista). Sijainti on aika hyvä ja lähellä kauppoja, vaikka itse kiinteistöön tullaan outoa hiekkatietä, joka näyttää rakennustyömaalta ja sitä se onkin.

Персонал приятный и доброжелательный)) Все понравилось, нет никаких замечаний. Отлично провели время, есть все необходимое для комфортного отдыха. В следующий раз обязательно к вам! Советую!??

Reviewed By Nikolai SВ этот раз приехал с подругой. Заранее искал место недалеко от вокзала т.к. поездка была пешей. Нашел это место в интернете фотографии на сайте очень понравились. Брали двух местный номер с одной кроватью. Коллектив хостела очень дружелюбный и отзывчивый. Очень порадовала комната отдыха. И полноценная кухня с бесплатным чаем и печеньками) Приехали поздно т.ч. не сил ни времени отправится в магазин не было! И чай с печеньем был очень кстати! На следующий день после прогулки сходили в магазин и купили продуктов для приготовления полноценного ужина на кухне есть вся посуда которая может понадобиться для готовки а так же много разных приправ! В хостела есть не большая сауна правда за отдельную плату(ценник довольно адекватный) так же есть стиральная машина и утюг опять же за отдельную символическую оплату) А теперь не самые приятные моменты из-за которых и снижена оценка: в номере не было окна точнее было псевдо окно в виде зеркала! Для нас это был не большой минус т.к. мы любим поспать до обеда) но в те времена когда днем отдыхаешь в номере без окна не очень уютно! Ну и в номер можно было установить небольшой дешёвый телевизор! Общие впечатления от хостела на 5 но пара мелочей всё-таки надо доработать! Всем советую этот хостел! из других фото увидел что есть похожие номера но с окном для тех кому важно! Самый лучший хостел Петрозаводска на мой взгляд!!!

A lovely place to stop off on long journeys
Reviewed By tybrafI have stayed there about 8 or 10 times and find it's ideal for my needs when I am travelling back and to the Arctic; it's almost 800km from Murmansk, just off the main road and with a 24hr petrol station on the complex. The people in Voyage Motel are friendly, the rooms are clean, comfortable and they serve evening meals and early breakfasts. There is a distinct lack of decent places to stay on the road from Murmansk to Saint Petersburg and most of my friends choose this place too in all seasons

Amazing and comfy
Reviewed By FeatureEdgyWe had light and comfy room near the kitchen. Everything was cool, soft pillows, warm blankets, fresh air, clean furniture, tv with disney channel, hot floor in the bathroom. Attention: rooms are not supposed to be locked. But there are a lot of lockable boxes inside, where you can put all your stuff (not too big, though). Towel costs 30 rur.
