A patchwork of vineyards and olive groves, dotted with whitewashed hill towns and sun-bronzed beaches—Italy’s southern heel has no shortage of photogenic landscapes. There are a few surprises, too, including the baroque city of Lecce and the Itria Valley, with its UNESCO-listed trulli houses.

Exclusive Masseria in the heart of Salento in Puglia, in a 18th-century farming village. Naturalis Bio Resort & Spa is a natural paradise surrounded by more than 18 hectars of bio diversity and by typical drystone walls. It is protected by majestic century-old olive trees. In 2012 the old farming village was transformed into a charming Resort, thanks to a careful and detailed renovation, not a simply restoration, but a real philological action of bio-architecture, made with love, to enhance the original and typical structures of the Salentinian tradition.
This place is a dream! My husband and I (and our doggy) spent one night in this "agriturismo": a former farm turned into boutique hotel. The reception area used to be the landlord house, while the rooms used to host the farmers. Everything has been restored in style, so it truly feels like an immersive throwback to another era. The rooms are gorgeous: amazing vintage and antique furniture combined with a jacuzzi with chromotherapy, right in front of the bed. We also had a lovely private patio. The peculiarity of an "agriturismo" is that the majority of food and products are produced in site. We tasted delicious oil, wine, honey, fruit, veggies, marmelades, bread, and lots of herbs - such as aloe, lavander, rosemary, thyme, sage, and more, all grown (with love!) in the beautiful land that surrounds the rooms. Naturalis is also a cosmetics brand: they make fantastic aloe and essential oils-based cosmetics. I appreciated the samples package that was gifted to us at check-out, but I also bought a couple of anti-age creams, which are great! The staff is super professional, on point, kind, and very welcoming. Everyone is also very knowledgeable of every aspect of the property and the business. The rooms are super clean and well curated. There's also a pool, an outdoor bar and dining area, and a spa. I've got an holistic massage that was so good I pretty much fell asleep at the end! One night is definitely not enough! This is a place where I think you should spend at least 3 nights to really enjoy the beauty, the tranquility and the services it offers. Naturalis Bio Resort is also a good location to be based at, while doing daily trips around the Salento area of Puglia. Super recommended!

The picturesque park of Grava is a singular example of Apulian fortified farmhouse of 1726 . The complex was owned SSMonache of St. Joseph , and today has been renovated with a scrupulous attention to maintaining the original features of the structure. It is a picturesque location surrounded by olive trees .
What a fantastic place! Beautiful surroundings among olive and fruit trees. The pool is awesome. Felice was super attentive and made great drinks by the pool. The breakfast is great full of local produce. On request, the hotel would make a light lunch. We were extremely pleased with our choice.

Agriturismo Giorgio is a surprisingly modern compound in a large and old olive grove. The beds in the sparsely decorated modern rooms were comfortable and everything was clean. The service quality was ok, but not super special, for instance concerning gluten free options for breakfast (which we had requested in advance) or the flexibility of the cleaning lady in terms of the time slots when she would clean our room. All in all, as an accommodation it appeared a bit overpriced in comparison to the other places where we stayed during our round trip. However, a true paradise for gourmets is their shop, where olive oil, marmalade, jams and pasta of their own production can be purchased.

We stayed 3 nights with Tiziana and her family. The rooms are very comfortable. Tiziana has good English and was really helpful in booking nearby restaurants for us. It was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the homemade produce for breakfast. P

In the countryside, between Monopoli and castellana Grotte, there are Villa Antonelli and Casina Piangevino, not far from the sea and the most important centers of the Itria Valley: Ostuni, Cisternino, Martina Franca, Alberobello and many more yet. Villa Antonelli consists of two distinct parts: the central structure and the chapel with a tower. The period of construction dates back to the second half of eighteenth century. A date, 1763, carved on the lintel of the entrance door of the chapel is an important refernce. A belfry with bell bronze surmounts the central front of the main body lining the driveway. The farm is now a relaxing resort, which is situated on a hill surrounded by greenery, with a pleasant grove easily walkable. Casina Piangevino is an old place to enjoy the pleasure of the lovable simplicity, slowness, the perfume of a generous and full of charm, among trulli, olive trees, vineyards and stone walls,a few kilometers from the sea. Spending an holiday at Casina Piangevino will allow you to know and appreciate organic products: extra virgin olive oil, cherries, figs, apricots, lemons, oranges and tangerins.
What a beautiful property in the country! The family was very welcoming and we definitely enjoyed our time there. The accommodations were lovely, very warm and welcoming. We will most certainly visit again. And we really enjoyed our visit with Rupert ?

The Masseria is immersed in a wonderful expanse of olive tress, a few kilometres away from the golden beaches and crystal water of the Adriatic. It is the ideal place to spend a holiday surrounded by nature, authentic Puglian food and historic charm. Near to Ostuni, Cisternino and the Valle d’Itria, Masseria Salamina gives you a friendly and elegant base from which to explore Puglia
I recently visited Masseria Salamina for a week and I can't say enough about it. It was beautiful, immaculately clean, the location is great and the staff was the absolute best. Fillipo, the owner of the masseria, was extremely accommodating and helpful. We didn't have a car while we were there and he helped us with securing local transportation and restaurant recommendations. We had to do nothing while we were there. I would like to visit again but in the summer so I can take advantage of their beautiful pool. I highly recommend Masseria Salamina!

Masseria Zambardo is in the Apulia countryside, surrounded by century-old olive trees. It is a farm from the early '900, and it consists of 2 family suites, 6 suites and 5 junior suites. Family suites and suites are also provided with well -equipped kitchen. All the rooms have fire place, air conditioning system, heating system, bathroom with shower. It has a wide swimmingpool and a breakfast room
We absolutely loved Masseria Zambardo. The grounds are breathtaking. It's a little off the beaten path but it's totally worth it. The breakfast was really delicious. They will make you whatever coffee your heart desires and even made us fresh eggs! All of the fruit is from their gardens and fruit trees, the cakes are all home made and the jams are delicious! Fresh squeezed juices and grapes right off the grape vines you are eating under. The pool was really incredible and we loved relaxing there so much. They gave us recommendations in the next town we were visiting. Before our stay, Masseria Zambardo coordinated with us a coursed dinner at their sister Masseria. If you are trying to find the dinner place on Google maps, you will not find it! Follow the instructions by the staff and you will find it! Even in the darkness! We did :) and it was the most delicious meal! Even though we didn't speak Italian, we had a perfect relaxing vacation and were able to communicate with the staff!

The farm Costarella was born in the beautiful coast of the Adriatic salento.La Masseria was recently renovated according to the canons typical of the area, offering solutions in Residence. Surrounded by greenery designed just for a vacation in contact with nature and all that surrounds it. The farm is ideally located, situated about 1.5 Km from the town of Borgagne, only 3 km away from the sea where there are the beaches of Torre dell, Sant'Andrea, San Foca, Frassanito, and Alimini Otranto . Agriturismo has 7 apartments tastefully furnished in rustic style but with splashes of color that make the environment cool and a little vintage. All accommodations are made on the ground floor with wheelchair access. Environments are fresh and have heating for the cold winters.
Not knowing what to expect, found it extremely clean, nice, and the owners/managers always very kind, helpful and available. Not very big (7 rooms) it allows for a pleasantly careful and personalized service. Near to beautiful beaches and typical small Italian towns. The restaurants in the are were also very nice and had good prices. Really impressed.

HISTORY: Masseria Nuova is a 17th-century manor farm, immersed in the centuries-old olive groves of Salento. The song of crickets and the chirping of birds interrupt the peace of a place from another time, where time seems to stand still. The white and wrinkled rocks of the area, the red soil, and a thousand color and fragrance wild vegetation are the framework for the rich historical manor farm complex. COMFORT AND WELCOME: The guest is welcome in comfortable and finely furnished rooms, and pampered by the various comforts the facility offers; Fridge, air conditioning, heating, LCD TV, large private bathroom inside the rooms.
First time in a masseria but it was excellent. The building it self is nice and spacious and certainly loved it. Stone built blends with its surroundings very nice ! The location is in the middle of the Italian county. Is very quite and nice Also the staff are very friendly and trying to make you feel at home. A nice touch is also the use of local products in the breakfast! It is quite far from any city (Francavilla is 4.5km away). Also you have to drive ¬0.5km in dirt road.
