Ballylinny Holiday Cottages

Perfect cottage

We stayed in the Truin for 2 nights which had far more space than we needed. The cottage has everything you could need, is in a great location close to the Causeway and Bushmills and spotlessly clean. Would recommend and return.

Hen Party

Reviewed By cirloane

We had the most amazing time at Dunamoy Cottages. We were a group of 14 ladies on a hen do. We slept comfortably in four cottages. When we arrived we had a gorgeous afternoon tea in the Jamieson Tea Room provided by the wonderful Debbie. After, we were all able to go down to the spa to relax before and after our treatments. Vera was equally amazing - providing us all with robes, towels and slippers before all our cottages were ready for check in, keeping our drinks chilled in the spa fridge for top ups and ensuring a truly fantastic stay. The spa treatments and therapists were excellent. Couldn't possibly fault a thing throughout our stay.

A fantastic place to stay! First-rate B and B.

Exceptionally welcoming, extremely comfortable (in a vast room), superb breakfast. Really top-notch. It's about a 10 minute drive from Armagh, which is a very attractive little city. We also visited Navan Fort, an ancient Celtic centre nearby, which is at the core of the greatest cycle of Irish heroic legends (the Tain Bo Cuailnge). There's little to see there, but a fine visitor centre, and an evocative spot.

We stayed with family in the Nutmeg cottage to visit family in Dungannon for vacation. The accommodations were very comfortable and spotless on arrival. The kids loved the play area and animals. The cottage was well equipped for traveling with a baby. The bedrooms are all spacious and the cottage has 3 full bathrooms as well. The location is quite central for taking day trips and sightseeing in the North. We would definitely return for another visit.

Rather rate this as "good" rather than average but the rating system is a bit limited. A good base for a few days to tour the area (Derry, Belfast, Giants Causeway etc.) with a hotel bar next door, plenty of restaurants in town and good supermarkety access nearby. Ideally a family venue. The onsite cafe (Dora's) was also handy. Most happy with the attitude and help of the proprietor. Well done Tom.

Perfect hosts, perfect scenery, perfect stay

We landed in Dublin and drove north. I had seen Riverway House on Trip Advisor and hoped we could stay there. I tried calling that afternoon, but our phones were still being adjusted to calling in UK and could not contact them due to our phone issues. We decided to just drive up and see if there was a vacancy. Peter was working on a new patio area when we drove up and asked about a room. Actually that day they had closed for working. However, graciously he let us have a room even thought they did not plan on guests that day. I am SO glad he let us stay!!. He and Paul went out of their way from the get go to make us feel warmly welcomed and pampered. They directed us to town so that we could get an evening meal and when we returned they had tea and biscuits ready for us. Their whole place is immaculate and comfortable. Lovely grounds. Spacious and modern bedroom and bathroom. The next morning, as we sat in the dining area, our most difficult decision was who would face the spectacular Mourne Mountains and who would face the amazing Irish Sea. Their Samoyeds were a delight. We've stayed in a lot of B and B's and this was easily in the top five. You will not regret a stay with Peter and Paul. You will want to stay longer than one night!!! Super experience. Great value and just great fun time.
