Worst designed air con ever!!!
Reviewed By crackers123Before I start, a little context for fairness. I booked this hotel knowing I would be six months pregnant and that Italy in summer is hot, really really hot do I wanted air con as my top priority and ideally a pool. Some of what I'm about to write may not therefore be appropriate in winter and may be biased. The hotel itself is actually in the spa which, if you want too use it ( you have to pay to use even the pool which was a shame) , is ideal and, I think all rooms are mini studios with fridge, sink, hob etc which is very useful and a plus point. When we arrived reception was good and we were shown to our room, also a nice touch. However it became apparent very quickly that the air con was the most pointlessly placed air con in history: facing upwards underneath a window meaning all it was cooling was a patch of air about two foot square above the unit. Given that temperatures had been over thirty that day, it meant the room was very very warm. And it didn't get any cooler. In all honesty although the air con was going all night I doubt if it did much more than make a noise. I can't believe in such a hot country someone could describe this room as having air con. I realise we could have asked to move but a) I don't like to and b) I get the feeling that the studios are all similar. The other downside to the room is the bed. As they are studios, the beds are sofa beds and sadly this one is not comfortable. It is rock solid feeling with a very thin mattress so doesn't offer any real comfort at all ( my other half agreed and he's not a crazy pregnant lady) it's also noisy to move around on so the sleep quality of the room is poor. This is a shame as the room is large, has a decent and very clean bathroom, there's plenty of free parking and the WiFi is good. My advice would be to only choose this hotel if you're visiting the spa or its winter.

Huge apartment!
Reviewed By raulpr666We were on a road trip. We had landed in Milano and we were staying overnight in Pavia so the following morning we could carry on our journey towards Cremona. As we were driving, we didn't mind that the Apartment was that far from the Centre of Town. But if you are not driving, the location is a little bit trickier. For us it was good, as we also could park our car inside the property and we had a big Carrefour Supermarket very close. Our flat was huge, more than enough for the 5 adults that we were!

Reviewed By carlemilWe were nicely surprised by this guesthouse: the young lady at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. The decoration of the room was maybe not my style, but the room was spacious and very clean, as well as the bathroom. The A/C was working perfectly and was very silent. Coffee and tea were available in the room; a nespresso machine could be used in the basement where there is a fridge as well and a drink/snack machine. Since we were planning to leave late, it was no problem at all to leave the luggage in the room, without extra.

Reviewed By Paul BWe had an appartment in this building during our stay in Pavia. Where to start. The appartment building is located on a 15 minutes walk from the city center. Public car park (free) is available around the building. The building looks very well maintained, both at the outside as well as the general areas and appartments inside. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The appartment itself was clean and was furnished with everything we needed. The value for money was good as well, so no complaints at all.

Reviewed By Jocelyne RWe made a change at the last minute and requested an apartment at ground level. Lorenzo, the owner/manager, was able to accommodate us without any problem. It was an older apartment but very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath (shower). A kitchenette with adequate amenities to prepare simple meals, a very large flat screen TV in the living room. A dining room with a large table to accommodate a family. Our apartment had a very convenient private access from the street. Plenty of safe parking (the gate is locked at night), a restaurant, a large terrace with a great view of a beautiful garden and beyond, a swimming pool with plenty of lounge chairs and space. We enjoyed talking with Lorenzo, who speaks several languages, and we learned about the history of his property and family in this small town. Our four days there just went too quickly.

Rather poor
Reviewed By Michal GOur accomodation was organized in a garage space converted to apartment. Sofa falling apart. Kitchen ok but there is no moisture ibsulation so humidity goes up on walls. Beside that it was clean. There was an extra bed on half floor very unsave. Almost unacceptable. Overall good for a night but no pleasure. Entry back side at garbage bins... .
