Awful Hotel!

This Hotel was horrible, the rooms are filthy We asked to move rooms 4 times all being just as disgusting as each other, towels with holes in grime everywhere even bugs in the bed we ended up paying to stay in a different hotel! I was also 20 weeks pregnant at the time and didn’t even have any toilet roll in the rooms my partner had to walk to a supermarket to pic some up. They also use pictures from the hotel next door (which just happens to have a similar name) but on arrival claimed they’re two separate hotels that are not related and you can’t use their facilities! Just please avoid.

Reviewed By yidddd-Very clean -Excellent location in the centre of Marrakech, it’s very easy to walk everywhere -Rooms nicely finished with AC -They even gave us a free upgrade to a larger room when they noticed that it was two of us sharing it (free of charge) -Hotel taxi service was efficient and inexpensive -Rooftop terrace is perfect for enjoying the sun -Very safe area -Would definitely stay again/recommend

Comfortable convenience in Marrakech
Reviewed By RichardC97Very spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit. Some difficulty with the heating and water leakage in the shower(s), but generally well maintained and quite close (30 minute walk) from the main action. Good supermarket 200m away. Driver arranged through reception was convenient, but taxi cheaper than usinig their airport shuttle service.

While its exciting to find accommodations in an exotic place, you'll always not sure what you'll get. Standards are not first world for sure, i.e. bathrooms & kitchens that are not updated (my pet peeve are dark spots in caulking caused by humidity). Read reviews to manage expectations! Location was excellent though - next to Le Jardin Majorelle and short cab ride to the Medina and other spots. We booked the timeshare for a week but also booked one night in a nice riad in the medina and an overnight stay in a riad in Essaoiura which made our stay more enjoyable.

Reviewed By MrJD79Had a 4 night stay at Wazo Appart Hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Few problems with our room when we checked in, such as ants and a broken lock on the sliding door. However these issues were quickly resolved. Also housekeeping failed to replace towels on two days when they serviced the room and we had to call reception for them to be sent. If they could improve housekeeping In the rooms it would be a big improvement. The hotel is located slightly outside the main tourist areas of Marrakech, but these are easily accessible by taxi. It was a pleasant stay at a very reasonably priced apart-hotel.

Good value for money, BUT bring earplugs
Reviewed By petetheloafFriendly helpful staff, basic but functional room, clean and air conditioned with a comfy bed and sofa. the kitchenette with a job, kettle, microwave and fridge is a real bonus. Gueliz is full of useful stuff like bars, restaurants, a coffee shop and Carrefour supermarket on the doorstep. The only reason I'm not giving it a solid 5 stars is that's it's in the same building as a boxing club/gym which starts up the pounding dance music at about 8am and goes until gone 10pm.. the bass, and the thudding of people running on treadmills goes right through the building unfortunately, so do bring ear plugs or expect your lie-in to be very brief indeed.

Gorgeous and excellent location
Reviewed By Sarah AMy family stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed M Appart. The decor and balcony were absolutely gorgeous. The space overall was spotless and spacious. The location was our other favorite part. There's a lot going on in Gueliz, even later at night. Check-in was seamless (I had called/texted to let them know my arrival time ahead of time) and the security guard was always helpful to answer questions or help us find a cab.

Reviewed By zeeltjeI really can recommend this place for families and couples. The villas are not luxury, but the views will make up for it. We stayed here five days in july. During our stay we enjoyed every morning a delicious breakfast. The staff is professional and friendly. Staying all day by the pool while overlooking the magnificent views really was relaxing. Every day we left our petit villa late in the afternoon to visit Marrakech. The combination of the peace at the beau site ourika and the chaotic and busy Marrakech is amazing. I know for a fact that we will be back.

Reviewed By GrandTour46980943596The best place to stay in Marrakech, in the middle of the Medina, just 5 minuts to the center and with amazing views and rooms. The owner was so kind and attentive. He gaved us everething that we needed to make our stay more comfortable (he even put the pool for us when the whether was hot). If i ever come back to Marrakech i would not hesitate to go to Miramare Residence. Abdell you are the best!!!

Amazing find!!!
Reviewed By Amanda RAmazing place to stay 2 minutes walk from the main square. Staff were so friendly. I arrived on my birthday and when they found out, it was decorated the next day and Moroccan sweets left for us. Perfectl location for Marrakech. Breakfast was lovely with different croissants, pastries etc each day. We will definitely return and advise anyone else to stay there. Thank you so much for making our stay special.
