We arrived late and could phone the owner on his mobile, who came especially to us to deliver the key, let us in, and help us get settled. You are really in the center of the city, close to everything. We enjoyed our spatious rooms and all the amenities. Thanks and next time in Antwerp we will for sure be back here in Van Hecke aparthotel! We give this two thumbs up !

Reviewed By Rainer1906Great hospitality, very scenic rooms. A clear recommendation if you visit Knokke-Heist. Leave your car in the garage box and use the Kustline Tram to explore all the nice towns at the shore. And of course Logiers de Laurier for your stay.

They have free lockers to store you luggage after checkout if you plan on exploring. The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to most places. We had a great stay and can’t recommend this place enough!

Place 2 Stay offers luxury studio's, a penthouse suite with terrace and a two-bedroom apartment for rent on short & mid-long term in the historical city center of Ghent, only 200 meters from Vrijdagsmark. Alijn House Museum is 400 meters away.All accommodation is fully furnished and equipped with all modern comfort.Our studios (32-34m²) have a double bed ; dining corner & kitchen with microwave, grill fridge & freezer as well as tea and coffee making facilities; a lounge area with flat screen tv & wifi internet access; Personal bathroom with shower and a heated towel rail. There is individual central heating and videophone.On the highest, third floor there is the penthouse apartment (72m²)for 2 persons. The penthouse has a private terrace (28m²), nice to enjoy the sun on spring and summer days. Good but could be better
Reviewed By DFWJWe made our booking via booking.com. The studio received was not corresponding the images of the studio we booked. When we arrived, a friend in Ghent was dropping us off. When we checked in (all via an intercom system) the host noticed there were 3 people iso the 2 booked. We received an immediate lecture that 3 people could not stay in the booked accommodation. That was never our plan. It could have been addressed differently. The person just dropped us off and wanted to make sure all was OK during check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. The information folder was incomplete ad crappy looking. Our 1 hour late check-out request was granted but in the end we did not need it. Upon leaving one of the hosts was cleaning another studio. She asked us: are you leaving, did you leave the key? By the way did you pay? Yes we did via Booking. Ok Bye! That was it. OK place but for 3 star the service, even if you want to limit contact, could have a different approach

Ideal location in a lovely apartment just too noisy
Reviewed By Becky HOn first impressions this apartment is ideal hidden away but so close to the square and sites. The apartment is ideal with an induction hob for cooking on days you want to eat indoors. Bathroom is lovely, bed is comfortable and big and living area spacious Our only fault was every night it was so noisy from other residents but the noise would start at 1am and be until 4am so as you can imagine you are exhausted by the end of the stay Such a shame as everything else was near perfect but writing this early in rhe morning due to 3 nights of no sleep wasn't great! If you are young then great but we came here for the walking tours and sites and although wasn't going to sleep until midnight ourselves didn't expect the noise every night for 4 days

Rude and non helpfull
Reviewed By 2828melBooked a room but my flight got cancelled, so contacted them within 24 hours of initial booking to ask them to change the dates of my stay. But they rudely refused while saying I booked a non refundable night (I booked the only available option). I didn't even ask for a refund, I asked for a change of date... never again for me.

False advertising and rude!
Reviewed By travelguideinfoWe booked a sea view apartment! We got it reconfirmed and have the email plus call prior to booking. When we arrived we were disappointed as we got a city view room. Called them and last was so rude saying it’s my fault for booking the wrong room. Though I have proof beachfront and sea view.

Reviewed By tasosg111May be the worst hotel room i have ever stayed in!!! It is an old building which most probably has been somehow renovated. The only good part of the room was the refrigerator. If you want to save 55 euros, it is better to sleep on a bench in the street rather than book this hotel. Bed is too hard. Faucet is not working properly. In case that you will forget your key in your room there is a sign saying that you will be charged 50 euros!!! because you will make them to come and open the door!!! Unbelievable!!! Actually, there are not enough works to describe this awful experience!

MY ADVICE: If you are going to pick this place just because it is nearby, DO NOT DO IT! IT'S NOT WORTH IT! - The rooms are very dirty and the whole environment in general is not clean - Very Noisy - A lot of parties (it felt like a place where students stay), the room/door are not insulated and it sounds like people are walking and having a conversation in your room On top of everything, I have asked the host to change my room because of the noise, and he just told me HE DOESN'T CARE. The place is a s**thole and expects only people which are basically "forced" to stay there.

Worst experience ever!
Reviewed By MikevanvuurenWorst experience ever. Booked it for 2 nights. Dropped our bags and had to leave directly for another appointment. When we came back at the end of the evening we saw the poor maintenance and cleaning. Packed our bags and moved to a hotel which could help us out (after 23h). Next morning shot some photos of the appartments which are certaintly not fit to be rented out. After calling the assistance we handed in the Keys before check in time. Ultimately, only received back our rent for 1 night, not even stayed there. Explanation was that it could not be rented out for that Day (ofcourse not true because keys were handed in before check in time). Conclusion: zero understanding and in short they just scam people with renting out these dangerous ruins. Be warned and do not book with BE.housing.
