Decent Hotel. Worst Staff.
Reviewed By supreethab2016Pros - Location, Room(small but comfortable) Cons - The extremely rude and unprofessional service staff in the front desk. My money was stolen from the room’s safe. FROM THE SAFE. And the staff didn’t even bother apologising, leave alone compensating. Note to the management - Teach your staff on how to talk to guests. And replace the Safe in the room as any housekeeping staff could open and steal from it. I can’t stay there anymore because I’m afraid to keep my stuff in the room and go out peacefully.

One-bedroom apartment
Reviewed By tk3232First, what I liked - Good location walking distance to all whatever you need to see and shopping streets, the elevator well did it's job, big fridge, balcony, room comfort, 2 bathrooms (one of those is really tiny). Easy communication by phone with customer service due nobody on reception (covid-19 restrictions). AC is working good and Wi-Fi was excellent. Apartment complex is very close to REWE groceries store, which is very convenient. Walking distance to Marketplatz with market on it, daily 8 am - 13 pm (closed Sunday). Apartment was clean. Disliked · Old and ugly linen bedding and need to be replaced asap, uncomfortable pillows, a very hard sofa bed, I had to put a blanket underneath. We even had to call and make sure we should sleep on these sheets, the look was terrible. One small window was broken and could not be opened. The door to the balcony practically did not close totally due to a bad lock. Recommended parking is very expensive 19 euros per day and no discount to guests from hotel.

great aparyment in city center
Reviewed By Predrag_MI was staying in this apartman for 2 nights, it has comfy twin bed, nice kitchen, refrigerator, TV, wifi signal was excellent. Apartman is located in the nearby side street 150m from fountain and the cathedral. Bathroom is OK, although not so big. You'll have a big towel that you can use it for spa, caracalla spa thermal is only 10min walk.

Superb for family
Reviewed By F_Patrick_H_KWe booked this through Ryanair for the last night of a ski holiday. Massive apartment and spotlessly clean. Huge balcony overlooking a big garden that the kids explored. Arrived late but assisted over the phone by landlord who was excellent. Nexpresso coffee machine with great selection of coffee. Bowls Chocolate and sweets which was a good nice touch. No shower though big bath. Watch out for the €50 cleaning bill. I recommend this place. Parking. Close to town in quiet neighbourhood.

Reviewed By Getaway32643065672Накануне заселения мне написал менеджер и попросил оплатить заранее. Сделать это я не смогу, так как в карте Райфайзен банка у меня нет возможности перечислить деньги с телефона. А я путешествую по Европе уже 5 недель. Ни когда проблем не было. Тогда менеджер после долгих переговоров мне заявил, что отменяет бронирование. В итоге мне пришлось сдать билет из Цюриха в Баден-Баден и купить билет в Любляну. Ну, и ещё было не приятно узнать, что цена за 2 ночи не 120 евро, а 180.

Reviewed By Stephan GNunmehr zum 4 Mal buchte ich eine Ferienwohnung im Haus Stiegeler, ich war sowohl beruflich, als auch privat schon hier. Diesmal privat. Appartement No. 5 ist das Appartement unserer Wahl. Ideal für 2 Personen mit schöner Dachterrasse. Sauber, sehr gepflegt, superbequeme Betten. Anreise war nach vorheriger Absprache auch am Sonntag kein Problem. Toll, gleich gegenüber stehen in einer Tiefgarage Parkplätze zur Verfügung, ein echter Vorteil, bedenkt man die sehr angespannte Parkplatzsituation in der Freiburger Altstadt. Alles in Allem eine reelle Adresse, wenn man in Freiburg mittendrin und auch dabei sein möchte.

Reviewed By Sas SThis was our last stop after long trip. And well worth it. Friendly staff on arrival. Stunning room with comfi bed. Heatinf for the cold wet day. Shower was hot. But the blinds that kept light out for late sleep was my favourite.

Host cancelled our confirmed and payed for booking
Reviewed By beirkarWe booked our 1 night stay months in advance and got an immediate confirmation. Payment was only due a couple of weeks before arriving. A week or 2 before the payment was due I got a request from the host to already pay for our stay. Strange that this payment agreement was suddenly changed, but none the less I payed. Then the host mailed me there was no place for us (= host probably received a booking request for more than 1 night and just decided we should go). I contacted booking.com and they contacted the host => booking informed me that everything was ok. A couple of days before arriving the host contacted me again and asked me to cancel because he had no place for us. I cancelled because I was not willing to risk arriving with my young kids before a closed door. I asked for my money back off course. Host promised he would return my payment. I had to contact the host several times before I finally (after a couple of weeks) got my money back. The host was very impolite in his communication.

Great Stay
Reviewed By SDMcGeeHad all we needed: Comfortable bed, small but very workable kitchenette, very clean, free parking and right across the street from the old center of Calw. Our unit was a studio with a nice balcony. Calw is an attractive little town with bakeries and restaurants. It took us a few passes before we actually found Hermann's Neue Post but I'll make it easier for you. Along the main street (strasse) there are two bridges. One is Marktbrucke and the other is Nickalusbrucke. On the other side of the road between the two bridges is the apartments. They are next to a very large parking structure. Park in the parking structure and go to the street you'll be facing the river turn to your left. You'll see the sign for Hermann's Neue Post, it's orange, green and black. It's hard to miss on street level but easy to miss while your on a busy street looking for something with cars all around you.
