We came, we left, and than we came back for more
Reviewed By SophiaT1108This place was definitly the highlight of our albanian trip. We found it by suprise, stayed one night and then moved to dhermi. After one night in dhermi, we packed our bags and went back to pine side. If you like camping, this is the best place on the rivera.

Social Camping is the "Heaven" on Jal...a must visit place...

We offer 3 bungalow rental for couples or family of 3.The accommodation unit is new with view of the sea, a balcony, air conditioning , a small fridge ,and a private bathroom with shower .The twin bedroom has wonderful views to the see ,beds can be arranged to suit your requirements - together or separate.Vila Druri offers free private parking and it is located only 30 m from the seashore. We provide 24 hours electric and running water access . There is a grocery shop 30 metres away, while an ATM , a bar ,a restorant and a pizzari can be reached in just a few steps. Numerous beaches can be found in Dhermi or the vicinity , such as Drimades Gjipea beach, Jala beach, or Porto Palermo. The Ferry Port can be found in Vlore 40 km away, while Tirana Airport can be reached in 260 km (4-hour drive away).Local buses stop 500 m away and feature lines to Himare, Saranda and Vlore few times daily.
Fantastic place to stay with great host
Reviewed By F6970OAgreggWe stayed here for a night. The room was very clean and very nice. It's very well located and very reasonably priced. Also the person that runs it (Toni) is incredibly helpful - he really could not have been better as a host. I managed to leave my wallet on a bus on the way to dhermi and he miraculously tracked it down and had it delivered to the hostel. He helped us with our onward travel plans going as far as delivering us to the right street corner within a few minutes of the bus arriving. Would highly recommend!

Camping Accommodation The campsite is located in the area known as Drymades in Dhermi (in an area of about 5000 m2) and very close to the beach, just 80 m away. Accommodation is in tents which are equipped with foam beds and all the sleeping sets (sheets, pillow, blanket). THE SEA TURTLE now comes also with another sleeping category, we offer tents with beds (Japanese style beds).
Disappointing, especially when compared to the Lonely Planet write-up
Reviewed By Gabrielle DMy partner and I were very disappointed by Sea Turtle camping, as we went there after reading the glowing review by Lonely Planet. The tents were really close together so there was basically no privacy and our tent wasn't under tree cover, so it felt very exposed and also got extremely hot during the day. We weren't provided with any locks which felt a little dodgy when we had to leave our backpacks in the tents while we went out. We also found we were the only non-local travellers and couldn't meet any one at the campsite. We also understand that it is cheap accommodation at 10 euros per night, but we stayed in fantastic hostels in Albania for the same price or less (with breakfast included) so it didn't feel particularly cheap, especially for camping.
