Perfect weekend
Reviewed By ThefeinschmeckersWe recently spent the weekend (2 nights) at buitenplaats beekhuizen - what a great place ! We stayed in one of the XL tents which can accommodate up to 7 people. The tent was spacious and had a very convenient layout. It had a decent size fridge and a gas powered stove. There was also a good gas heater which kept us warm at night. This glamping site exceeded our expectations in every possible way. We really felt that we were staying in the middle of the forest while staying in a proper accommodation. The site is super clean and well organized. There is on site parking. Reception has a small shop with a few items you can buy if you forget to bring some basics (though do not expect a big selection). You can also buy woods there should you wish to enjoy a campfire. There is also an on-site restaurant (though it has limited opening times). Check in / out was super fast and efficient. The location is unbeatable and if you are looking to spend time in nature and stay in a nice place at the same time which feels part of the environment then this is the place for you. Price wise, the place is a bit on the pricier side but we did not feel as if the price was unreasonable. We had a great time and would defiantly be happy to be back.

Reviewed By 849tonvNa bijna 30km Pieterpad werd ik zeer hartelijk welkom geheten. Een tent was de enige optie omdat ik laat had geboekt. Twee keer zo duur als een b&b. Helaas moest ik ook nog betalen voor een lakenpakket en toeristenbelasting. De tent was prima ingericht voor vier personen. In oktober had ik wel een extra dekbed nodig. De bistro op de camping serveerde een simpele maar smakelijke maaltijd. Goede optie voor Pieterpad wandelaars die lopen in een groep. Anders wat prijzig

Harrassed on vacation
Reviewed By angelaaY7686YJWe had a good time on our holiday a few weeks ago. However, on the day of checkout, housekeeping knocked on our door at 1012. We were late in checking out and they were anxious to get into the room. I apologized for the delay (my son had been ill) and asked them to give us 10 minutes or so to finish packing the car. They knocked on the door 2 more times within the next 5 minutes. They had also waited outside the door and were watching as we were loading our vehicle. The leader of the group called the reception desk. At 1022, a gentleman from reception came and told us we were late checking out and was tapping his watch. My husband had just finished showering and was pretty upset by this. After a brief confrontation, the gentleman left. At 1030 we were at the front desk. The woman there asked if we had a nice stay, we said that it was great until we were harassed 4 times to leave. We have lived in Europe now for 12 years, and this is the first time we have ever been treated this way. We have stayed at 2 different Topparken parks and this will be our last. We had to ask for an apology, which was reluctantly given. We were very upset to be treated this way. Even our young children asked why we were being rushed to leave the premises. I never want to be treated this way ever again. On holiday, we were supposed to have a great, relaxing time. The cleaning staff were rude and could have moved on to another room instead of insisting that we get out immediately. The manager should have been apologetic, and not been so immediate to defend the cleaning staff.

Zeer gastvrije Boerencamping
Reviewed By Jacqueline MWij hebben hier 8 dagen mogen kamperen. Leon en Antoinette zijn erg gastvrij. Camping is erg netjes en sanitair is erg schoon. De pizza-avond met houtgestookte oventjes was erg gezellig. Ook de wijn uit hun eigen wijngaard is een aanrader. Boodschappen deden we in hun landwinkel, mooie biologische producten. Kortom, een aanrader!

A great campsite
Reviewed By irishlass55We stayed here for 9 nights over Easter. We saw the park practically empty and also very busy over the Easter weekend. We loved it and would definitely return. The accommodation was different from your regular mobile home and had more of a beach feel. We stayed in a River Lodge and the kids loved sleeping in the small attic room. The pool was great - really clean and had some slides and an area for smaller children. The on-site shop was great and had everything you could need and more. We felt really safe letting the children go off and explore the campsite on their own. The play areas were a hit especially the bike track! The staff were very friendly and had excellent English.

Glamping
Reviewed By FerrisXLWe had a great stay in one of the “glamping” safari tents which offer everything one can imagine for a comfortable stay: Beds with good matresses, shower and toilet, kitchenette, fridge. Everything was very new, clean and well maintained. There is sufficient room to sit on the veranda and availability of a BBQ and hammock are nice extras. Located in the newest part of the park, the final parts of which are still under development (but we had no issues at all with noise). Everything was well arranged; recommended.

Beautiful small wellness park in the heart of the Veluwe. We have 10 houses fully equipped with flat screen, wifi, 2 rooms, shower with massage, and a private jacuzzi in the garden.

Very good camp ground
Reviewed By BartKummelWe stayed for one night with our family in our camper van. It's a very nice camp ground with lots of facilities. Different play grounds for children of all ages, tennis court, swimming pool, shop, you name it. Where this camp ground stands out is the cleanliness of the facilities and how well organized everything is.
