Hotel Forrás is located in close proximity to the Gránit Spa of Zalakaros, just a few minutes walk from the city center. We have 47 rooms totally for available, which 37 are double room with an optional spare bed and furthermore we have 10 family apartments. Our rooms are modernly furnished, each of them has a balcony, a bathroom, a TV and a fridge. 19 rooms on thethird floor are equipped air conditioning. Built-in Wifi networks provide direct internet access from the rooms, while the 3-storey hotel has an elevator for transport. Our restaurant has a home-made kitchen with tasty and savory foods. We have the wide selection of breakfasts and the half-board we have 3 course menus to choose from the two kind of the soup and the two kind of pickles from the table buffet. Would you like to take a rest? Do you have vacation plans? Or would you just like to have an extended weekend? Ask for customized offers!

Reviewed By VojcUkmarClean rooms, excellent food, friendly stuff, next door to spa complex. Social prices for additional drinks at dinner. Domestic feeling. Wifi fast and strong wherever. They accept all cards. Great ratio price/what you get. But, for additional payment-soa entrance , drinks etc. Prepare forint. Hungarian money. With cash in euro you could not pay the hotel. Exchange money before. Othervise is cheap. Half liter beer is around 600 huf. Around 1,8€. Tourist tax 400huf per person on 1 night.

Reviewed By Mick HThe owner of this Pension is a Mr Dukavits, a thouroughly charming gentleman who was genuinely friendly, spoke reasonable English and would help you in any way possible ! The Hotel is beautifully furnished & the gardens where you may eat outdoors are impeccable. The head waiter was also a charming gentleman & even drove us to the nearby Bukfurdo Spa in his own car due to problem with ours ! Food was excellent. Also the rooms were spacious & clean. There were a couple of niggling faults in the bathroom, but I reported them to Mr Dukavits & they were mended promptly. We had intended staying here for two nights (had a mechanical problem with our car which meant us putting it into the Volvo garage - luckily for me right next door) so asked for a third night's stay & it was no problem. Okay there's not much happening in the vicinity but if you're travelling & need a nights stop over then definitely try to stay here. Also of course if like us, you wish to spend some time in the nearby Spa this is the ideal Pension to stay ! Extremely good value & we will return !

Such an easy drive to Hévíz in the transfer taxi but for a two hour trip worth it. Probably would hire a car if we came back to go to surrounding districts. Happy to walk everywhere this time in the warm sun. We came across a market day on Thursday and the local shops and swim at the Lake were enough to keep us busy for a week. The apartment was clean and a good size, being quiet and peaceful at night. It has a warm spa pool in the complex and we booked an hour long massage each which was superb. Everything seemed to be on hand and walking distance to town. Great holiday place! Go to the ABC market up the hill for fresh chicken meat or mince otherwise you’ll be stuck buying salami type goods down the hill at the co-op (only go for a look); it has a mini mall attached. Not great English spoken in town but enough to get us food and shop. We did sit waiting for service at a large ‘pub’ and felt ignored but a local gave the waiter a nod about us sitting there and finally attended us. Good meals eating out. Would visit again.

Reviewed By Excursion64144998221It’s clearly 4* hotel locally, not 3. Probably I’m here after renovation but I’m not missing air conditioner in my room, it’s in place and works well. I stayed on 13th floor with great view. Room was modern, clean. There is a safe inside in case you need it. Breakfast and dinner was included but I’d prefer to skip dinner here (but it’s simply because my special meat-only based diet, choice of meet isn’t big 2-3 dished with beans and plenty of sauce what I’m avoiding) There is SPA and medical center nearby but I didn’t try it (because too healthy on meat-only?)

Reviewed By Julijana DOur second visit was an extra event. Celebrating a birthday with a group of people that are dear to you - this is the right spot. The staff was excellently prepared and the whole event supervised by Adrienn. The accommodation was superb, well taken care of and cozy at the same time. The chef did his best with preparing a special menu for the whole time we were there - a gourmet dinner, the midnight gulaž, little treats in between and the beverage package had excellent wine to complement the food. Beer lovers were also able to get beer on the tap and the guests who preferred soft drinks had a wide range of choice. Reka - the head of the restaurant kept an eye open till the early hours so that noone was left without a drink or piece of cake.

Reviewed By Martin EWe stayed three nights at Toldi's it was very nice. The room was very cosy but clean and nice furnished. The shared kitchen was also clean and very well equipped. The pension is a little bit outside of the "centrum/lake" but you can reach it within a 10 minute walk. We didn't use the hot tube and the sauna, since we spent our time at the lake-spa. So I can't say much about that. The owners a very friendly and the price is very fair.

They were also helpful in providing a map of the area and gave tips to make our stay here unforgettable. The B&B is situated only a short walk from the Lake and the centre of the town. And we a very tasty restaurant is also only a few streets away! The room was quaint and the shower was amazing! The garden of the B&B was an oasis of flowers and in the evenings we could sit on the provided chairs and enjoy the tranquility of the garden. I can't find any fault except for the morning coffee, but I'm not a fan of chicory. The rest of the breakfast catered for every taste! I'll definitely be booking here again at my next trip to Keszthely!

The wellness area is nice, clean, enough to take a rest there for couple of days. To smoke only in the garden area you can.

Reviewed By 545medvaThis hotel is very close to the Thermal Bath, just 35-40 steps to get in. The rooms are not too big, but they are very calm. There is a parking lot for the guests. The service is very nice. And on the top - the restaurant is excellent. It is for gourmands, and the price is quite normal. Even for breakfast they serve every day something special.

Reviewed By PragueDwellerWe really liked this hotel. If we compare it to other hotels we have tried before it was the best in the town. It´s next to the wood in the silent area. Rooms are spacious with big beds and TV. The good thing is there is a small hall with wardrobes and then you enter the bedroom and bathroom. It is usefull during the night. One thing was very annoying - the wooden part in the middle of the bed. We couldn´t hug during the night with my husband. They put two single beds together. Wifi was not working or very slow. Breakfast was very good. They offer few kinds of salads, vegetables, fried eggs, sausages, cakes etc. Great for vegetarians and with non-gluten diet.
