Our bed-and-breakfast lies nestled in a sunny, peaceful location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of town (approx. 400 M). Sports enthusiasts, active holidaymakers and those seeking to relax all get their money's worth while staying with us, and there are plenty of sports facilities close by. The Gaislachkogelbahn (cable car station) is located just 200 m from our guesthouse. You can take the cablecar to reach the ski-lifts located in the Solden, Hochsolden and glacier ski areas (in the winter). Our spacious rooms are fitted with a bath or shower and WC, a large balcony, telephone, radio, hair dryer, safe and cable TV, and offer every comfort. Unwind in the guesthouse sauna or in our cosy lounge with open fire, which has TV and Internet access. Wifi in the whole haus (billable). We have a special room with shoe warmers, for bikes, skis, snowboards and ski boots etc. Sportalm Guesthouse is located in the lower part of Solden and is therefore easy to reach by car. We also have ample parking spaces on-site. In summer, you can soak up some sunshine in our sunbathing area or relax on the terrace.

Reviewed By Raoulr89Perfect place to stay in Sölden. Friendly personnel, enough free parking spots, sauna, good breakfast and nice modern rooms with balcony. Especially the bed and the shower were very good. Hotel is located not far from several restaurants and the cable car.

Reviewed By ShaomiWe had the pleasure to stay 4 nights at this hotel. I wished we'd booked us in for an entire week. Our suite was absolutely stunning, the breakfast buffet excellent and the dinners we enjoyed were outstanding. Compliments to the kitchen. On top, all staff was super friendly, comforting and made our stay even more enjoyable. Location very central. We will definitely be back. Other than that, bike storage room was a little tiny, but still ok.

Very convenient location for ski vacation
Reviewed By jonathanl293We enjoyed a good stay with the family during a week in February 2018 at the Pension Heiners. The location is very convenient for ski holiday, just few meters away from the modern ski lift of Giggijoch. The ski pass sales office is also located at the lift, so very close by. You have plenty of ski rental services just at hand. And the stop for the village shuttle is also at the door step. So basically everything you need to get on the slopes or around Sölden. The rooms are fine. The beds were for us totally ok. Maybe the bathrooms could get a little modernization, as they are neither in a traditional look nor contemporary, but basically we did not spend our week in the bathroom so no problem there. The cleanliness of the whole accomodation was good, nothing special to report and the contact with the cleaning staff very good. There is a (apres-ski) bar just below the building that can be loud depending on the room exposition and your own sensitivity to the noise. For us it was not an issue as we were exhausted after full days of skiing. And they close at 10:00 pm anyway. The breakfast is served in the restaurant room which is very nicely decorated with a warm austrian flair. The offer is not huge but varied enough so that you can have enough energy on the slopes. And the service was excellent. We booked a half board, so that we also ate dinner at the restaurant. This is probably the only point where we felt not fully satisfied. The offer was good, and you can even choose between 2 different main courses. But we did not feel fully comfortable with the service. It felt familiar or informal without being really friendly. Sometimes we even had the impression that the kids were simply annoying the waiter, so that we were constantly watching the chlidren (inc. 1 toddler) to make sure they behave. It induced a stress during dinner which we would rather have avoided. It is not the image we had from Austria with a reputation of being very family friendly. So to sum up, a good stay in a clean and convenient accomodation but that could have been even better with a tiny bit more friendliness from some of the staff members.

Reviewed By BogdanGabrielThe hotel is centrally located, within walking distance from Gigi Joch ski lift. There are 4-5 good restaurants nearby, but you need to book ahead of time, since they are all full. You may find a good Japanese restaurant downstairs, with an interesting menu. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is somebody at the reception only for a few hours per day, since this it not their main building...Room furniture is old and needs refurbishment/replacement. The radiators didn't work for the first 3 days, although I repeatedly reported them to the reception desk in the morning. Only on the 4th day somebody came and fixed them. The breakfast menu is decent, however the eggs are cooked right on the hallway at the entrance in the breakfast room, on a small stove. Anybody going to breakfast can see and pass by the large pan with 4-5 eggs being cooked, so they are within anybody's reach (not ok at all!). In the morning I could smell the bacon being cooked although my room was on the 3rd floor (room 134), as the smell came underneath the door. The safe box didn't work: there was no way to use a code, however they left me the back-up key on top of it. If you wanted safety, you needed to take the key with you on when you got out of the room.

Reviewed By kansas73Reasonably priced B&B central to the slopes in Sölden - Gaislachkogelbahn. It's a good walk to Giggijoch and Katapult, but shuttlebuses drive continously. The B&B is clean, comfy beds, good breakfast. Ski and boot parking in the basement. If I need to point out a couple of downsides: Some better quality orange juice in the morning, and also the smoking fumes from the staff seeps into the (smoke free) rooms in the morning ;-) But at the price and quality the offer: This is top notch!

Skiferie i Sölden
Reviewed By Mikkel CVi var 3 "Drenge" afsted. (46,19,16) Vi havde værelset øverst oppe med udsigt til bjerget, afterskibar, Gigijoch gondolbanen osv. Værelset er 4 personers med 2 dobbeltsenge, eget bad og balkon, Wifi og tv. Morgenmad fra 7:30-9:30 hvor fru Lorenzi`s sørgede for gæsterne med glimrende og rigeligt morgenmad. Opvarmet skikælder til det hele. Egen parkeringsplads lige uden for døren til skikælderen. Haus Lorenzi ligger meget centralt med få meter til skiudlejning, restaurant, barer, lift osv. En super fin base for en uges skiferie i herlige Sölden. Vi vil klart anbefale stedet og kommer har gerne igen næste gang vi er i Sölden

no heat during the night...freezing
Reviewed By annutza0The house is pretty, the rooms and the apartment are ok...but if you like to sleep in a warm place here is not the case. There is a schedule for heat, 2 hours in the morning from 7 am till 9 am, and in the evening a few hours untill 10 pm. It gets quite cold at night, we had to sleep with clothes on, socks, hats...At home I sleep having a temperature around 21-22 celsius degrees...here it was way below 20, especially around 4am. I have complained about this, but they only set the temperature higher, at night the heating goes off....They said it's not healthy to sleep in warmth.

Short ski vacation

I was really impressed how clean was the whole place, from the breakfast room to stairs and of course, the room I rented. Also, the owner is saving nothing in offering a great breakfast.
