Tremendous view and carying hosts
Reviewed By swenezzCozy bed & breakfast with and tremendous view over the Baltic Sea! Nice, careful, and helpful owners. We rented one of the flats (the one with the lake view) a bit chilly (now in the springtime) and frugally furnished with kitchen appliances and crockery. Bikes exists at the property but they are a bit old and quite worn down so not suitable for a long trip.

Wonderful weekend in Österlen
Reviewed By jonasl138After a great hiking in Christineshof eko park on Friday we arrived to Glimminge B&B. We were welcomed by Vivi and Peter in a very warm way with a big smile. From the start they were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They gave us many good tips about where to go and what to visit. The rest of our stay was as great as the welcome! The weekend we stayed there was a package with homemade pizza on Friday dinner and Christmas food on Saturday evening. Food was delicious! We appreciated the very comfortable room and the living room where we was enjoying an fireplace. We are coming back and recommend this B&B to everyone visiting Österlen. In the nearby villages we visited small local farm shops and got some great local food with us home.

Hotel Turistgarden is a family hotel and has a unique location in an old merchant house from the 1700s, Aspelinska Garden. Centrally located in Simrishamn close to the harbor, cozy restaurants and attractions. Staying with us means personal service. Here you can find peace and tranquility of our rose garden, and our blackbirds singing happy. We have a Rosarium with more than 300 different roses for our guests' comfort. We offer a secure car park which is free for our guests.

Reviewed By RobinB196The breakfast is excellent, the location quiet and central. Spotlessly clean. The rooms however are hit and miss. We did not like the first room we were given (dark, no view, in the middle of a parking lot). We asked to change and the non-English speaking staff was not helpful. Several phone calls to the owner and some confusion ensued, and finally we got an upstairs room - tiny, no view, but better. It was off-season, mid-week, and hotel did not appear busy. For the price, we did not feel it was a great value.

Torsborg B&B is peaceful and beautifully situated close to Backhalla Nature Reserve, only 3 km from Simrishamn. Right in the middle of Österlen. Here you can stay in comfortable beds, enjoy the silence and gaze on the scenic views over the sea and meadows. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower, linen and towels included, as well as free Wi-Fi access, seating area and flat-screen TV. In the morning you'll receive a generous breakfast buffet including home-baked bread, fresh juice and local produce. There are also three well-furnished apartments if you would like to stay longer. Or just prefer the best! The Garden with old fashioned roses, birds singing and a fantastic view over the sea, with Bornholm at the horizon. The beautiful gazebo for rainy days or a glass of wine in the evening. A place that must be experienced.
Expensive not family friendly B&B on the country side
Reviewed By riisgkiWe visited as a family, 2 parents with 1 baby, and therefore we had asked for a baby bed. When checking-in we were asked to pay SEK 300 (EUR 30) extra for the baby bed, which we have never experienced in neither a B&B or a hotel before. Our friends which brought a small child, who sleept between the parents in their bed had to pay SEK 250 extra. By the way an extra towel in the room is SEK 50 extra. The rooms were ok, but the breakfast was limited to cold stuff, except for coffee and tea.

Reviewed By sweetpsweetsWas part of a wedding here. Stayed 4 nights and it was fantastic. The rooms were charming, country European with modern Scandanavian bathrooms. This is a bed and breakfast, and the breakfast buffet was scrumptious. Don't miss the special white honey and their fresh bread. The location is in the middle of beautiful canola fields, near the sea, just a short walk down. There is an art gallery that is breathtaking. The area of Simrishamn is so beautiful with fields of yellow, and the sea in the background.

Nice and cosy - good location

The yard is nice for late evening wine-drinking and the location is really good just a short walk to the port where it can be a bit windy, and if that reason it’s nice to live a little up in the town. However it’s maybe a little to expensive to what you get for the money and the beds were very soft. Breakfast is of no complain with many nice options! The staff was very nice and friendly. Overall I really recommend this place for a few nights stay!

Reviewed By Sigge LVery friendly and quite skilled serving staff. The starters kept top quality, but main courses and deserts were average. With prices like this I expected more creative, dynamic and precise cooking. On top of that, the dining hall is as hot as you would expect a restaurant kitchen. To put this on 4/5 they should either drop prices 30% or get bolder and better in the kitchen. They need to decide who they want to be.

Gnalöv Gård is a small and quiet bed & breakfast located in the countryside a few kilometers from the sandy beaches of southeastern Sweden and 7 kilometers from the small city of Simrishamn. The four double bedded rooms all have private shower and WC. The buffet breakfast offer homemade bread in the morning. Bicycles are for rent. The large garden offer many seating areas and possibilities for barbeque.

Especially that you have to clean after a one night stay is too much for me. With this in mind the price was also way too steep for what you get. Plumbing is also pretty bad, if someone showers it can be heard in the whole building.

Reviewed By DPinSveziaThis is about the hotel’s restaurant. We had a nice lunch here, done with local ingredients. I had the “salsiccia”: despite the name, it’s a German-style sausage and not an Italian-style one. Anyway, it was definitely good. The staff was a bit stressed when we ordered, but anyway we enjoyed what we got.
