A quaint and cozy posada boasting traditional architecture with accomodations for up to 25 people in a tropical garden setting. The large swimming pool in the center of the common area is flanked by the open terrace, the bar and the open dining room. Down a few steps into the garden is the open seating area, perfect for relaxing on a tropical afternoon. All rooms have A.C., hot water, TV and complimentary WiFi. The suites also include a bar fridge and either a balcony or a mini garden. The beautiful posada is just a short distance from the best beaches on Margarita Island; Playa Parguito and Playa El Agua. The hosts are extremely helpful and caring, striving to make your stay the best experience ever.

Reviewed By Caroline GI was lucky enough to spend time at Posada Entre Playas last year and must say it was one of many highlights during my time on the beautiful Isla de Margarita! The posada is in a gated community not far from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, with easy access to many others. The house, gardens and rooms are very well maintained with a wonderful rustic charm evoking the colonial history of the island. That being said it lacks none of the necessities of modern living. A particular favourite was our shower which was open air but not of course overlooked, with a small garden planted at the far end of it, enchanting! The room was comfortable and air conditioned and the areas for relaxing numerous, hours were spent on the hammock watching the comings and goings of the hummingbirds! The owner could not have been kinder or more attentive and the meals provided, they have to booked in advance, were really lovely. A truly special experience that will stay with me for a very long time!

Reviewed By girlonwhyteI'll get the cons out of the way: renos on the rooms were still going on and you're getting the basics in the rooms compared to the rest of the hotel. They don't take credit cards etc but they do use paypal and of course they take US currency. Now, onto the pros... The staff were awesome, helpful (speak English), friendly and went out of their way to make me and my friend get settled. If you're not familiar with the black market currency exchange on the island, they are pretty accurate and honest about rates and realities. This was the best place we came across for wifi and they make a mean cappucino, if you're looking for some familiar comforts. From the street, the hotel looks inconspicuous... high priced hotels one direction and low income housing on the other. The staff again, were security conscious and took some simple but effective precautions. The location was otherwise ideal, like the other reviews point out. You'd be paying much more for the same view anywhere else. They didn't have a restaurant or bar when we were there but sold cheap beer in their namesake-themed common area. You're a few blocks from one of the major shopping areas in Porlamar (one of the few areas on the island where things are still open on Sundays)...had no luck with restaurants but street vendors were decent. These guys make this hotel exceptional. If you're an art or design fan, you'll at least appreciate the details and work they've put in so far. If you're like us and missing real coffee, this place was an oasis.

Reviewed By CHUCK99whiterocksmall roof top pool, (2 story building) quiet street,1 block off so/so beach, air-conditioning,small satellite tv , bar fridge, large shower/no tub, cappuccino & grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast inc, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Staff friendly, owner is a french lady that lives on site, very nice as well, paid 200BsF per night for 2 persons, 2 week stay, secure parking free, good value if you need to stay in Porlamar, not much in town to see or do. We ate on the beach,fresh fish and soups cooked by local fisherman and family,very good and fresh, eating on little wooden tables in shacks on the sandy beach,real treat. Oct 2011
