Reviewed By TravellerraeWe stayed The Mel for 3 nights and mostly enjoyed ourselves. Firstly, let’s start with the bad - • The bathroom smelt a little bit in our first room (we had to move for our last night as they had planned air con renovations going on) • The cockerel out the back of the accommodation does not stop making noise. We thought they were morning birds but nope, 10pm and he was waking up the entire village! Now for the good - • The staff are delightful and so helpful. • The owner was great at organising transport and trips for us (also providing and opening our Bintang late at night when the shops were shut) • There’s a lovely clean pool in the centre of the accommodation with 2 sun beds to relax We would recommend grabbing a scooter to explore the island as you can’t see much without one!

Sunsethill cottage & tour is not 5 stars hotel but everything served by love. Nice and friendly staff, cllasic wooden house style, comfy bed make you feel if you are at your own home. At evening the sunset will welcoming you by its beautiful smile. Your this home located only 1 km from the harbour.

We stayed 5 nights in the king room with pool view, bed very comfortable and bathroom a delight we couldn’t of been happier! Thankyou Putu and all the wonderful staff for making our time on Nusa Penida so special! Service first class from transport to and from the harbour, organising us an off road bike to negotiate the roads which honestly were not as bad as many reviews state, although it allowed us to travel down to places that would of been difficult on a scoter! Set in the gorgeous jungle with abundant bird life within the local community just the way we like it!. This has probably been one of the most magic places we have stayed in in over 30 years of travelling Indonesia extensively. We will be recommending your slice of paradise to everyone we meet and when we return we would not stay anywhere else. Terima kasih banyuk!!!!!!?❤️?❤️?❤️?❤️

Reviewed By beauboThe property is very serene, set back a 100 meters from the beach surrounded by jungle. The bungalows are beautiful and clean, the swimming pool area is gorgeous. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast for 25K rp is a great value. They helped me rent a scoter for a month and was always happy to drive me to the harbor when I needed to day trip to Bali. I liked the location midway between Toyapakeh and Serengan.

Reviewed By ohjustkayaOur favorite hotel at the east cost of the island. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfy. The bathroom was outside and although the boiler was probably broken as we didn't have hot water, we enjoyed our stay. The service was outstanding. The rooms were very clean and built with a great eye for detail. I would recommend to anyone visiting Nusa Penida. They also provide the boat to and from Bali and water activities close by.

Reviewed By Bella CThis place is incredible!! its not far from Toyahpakeh Harbour (around 10mins by scooter). The beach is amazing!! it has crystal clear blue water and white sand. In the night you can hear the sea breeze, which is absolutely amazing for this budged!! Totally will come back again??
