Modernistic and very clean hotel
Reviewed By Dennis BOne nite stay only...everything looked new. room was very nice and bath very good (excellent hot water). Breakfast was sufficient and front desk very helpful. Elevators are somewhat of a rarity there but Avanty had a supurb one.

Reviewed By rbrow018It is a basic hotel that is a little more expensive than others in the area ($16 USD per night). However, its location and ability to take credit card as payment are worth the extra few dollars. It is literally 100 feet from the bus terminal. The hotel's purpose is to provide a resting place to those crossing over the border. I highly recommend staying here right before you cross over into Ecuador. If you are coming into Colombia, it is better to take the 3 hour bus ride to Pasto. Value For Money: 4/5 Security: 4/5 Location: 5/5 Facilities: 3/5 Staff: 3/5 Cleanliness: 4/5

Good place for a night or two

It has a good location, helpful staff, good shower (have to run the water a little to get it hot!) and a good wifi signal. The price was good for this quality. A comfortable enough hotel (you don’t have too many places to choose from!) with a good simple breakfast. The town is not very safe, so ask the hotel staff to call a taxi for you.

Having hot water in the shower may not seem remarkable, but this is Colombia and at this price point many of the other places I've been to only had cold water showers. On the down side, the only window was to a tiny inner public sitting space with a skylight. So things tended to get noisy when people sat there talking loudly on the phone. Severe lack of electrical outlets. Lucky I travel with an extension cord -- had to run it from the bathroom to reach the desk and my computer. Also, not the nicest neighborhood, mostly car repair shops around you.

Reviewed By rbrow018Don't be fooled by the rough exterior. I had the most comfortable sleep at this hotel that I had throughout my travels in Colombia. The room is nice and comfortable. There is also a great view on the rooftop. The location is relatively safe if not boring. I highly recommend this hotel if passing through Pasto. Reviewed By Ade JLa verdad no me gusto mucho la estadía, empezando que no siguieron las normas de booking y nos cobraron más, me he hospedado en lugares mejores por el precio que pague por este hotel. Parqueadero súper estrecho, los autos quedaban corchados y tocaba estar moviendo a cada rato cuando alguien quería salir. Las habitaciones muy pequeñas, para una habitación matrimonial de dos personas solo nos dieron una toalla, además que no tenía ni gota de entrada de luz del sol en todo el hotel, aparte un frío terrible por el mismo hecho de no tener entrada de sol. El baño de la habitación no tenía ni shampoo ni acondicionador, que en otros hoteles por menos precio siempre nos han dado, lo único bueno fue la ducha que el agua salía caliente sin problema. El desayuno básico, café, leche o chocolate huevos y pan, estando en Colombia por lo menos debían dar arepa, que nosotros como turistas esperábamos. El personal muy amable siempre. Para una próxima vez no volvería por acá
