The rooms and facility is very clean and the place very neat and tidy . Food is very good, home like and easily customised by requesting the chef. Very helpful and courteous management . Tarrif is well priced. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay.

Well, its almost impossible for a layman like me to find apt words to describe how beautiful a place it actually is!!!! So please go and find out for yourself what it feels to be in lap of nature and yet have an access to all the facilities you get in a metropolitan like New Delhi. Few highlights of resort are as follows: 1. UNMATCHED NATURAL BEAUTY. 2. EXAMPLARY SERVICE, AND FRESH FOOD ON ORDER. 3.PERSONAL TOUCH & HONESTY OF OWNERS. 4. JUNGLE TRAIL , Water fall AND A LOT MORE. Zostel Mukteshwar is a backpacking hostel in the Himalayan mountain range. Overlooking a vast expanse of hills in a secluded and peaceful area, it is a rejuvenating hub for travellers who love getting away to the mountains. With 2 common areas looking out at the scenic mountains, 2 terraces for hanging out, and a sports ground for volleyball and badminton, Zostel offers the most eventful stay to travellers in Mukteshwar. The rooms here are clean and spacious, designed to embrace ample sunlight, with balconies tagging along to all of them. At the in-house café, you can enjoy the serene vibes as you munch on freshly prepared home comfort food. Adding to the natural surroundings are the lemon, apricot, plum, and walnut trees in the yards! You can also take a stroll to the nearby farms, wherein they grow seasonal fruits, flowers, and nuts.

Reviewed By Swarnim_MehtaWell....positioned as a cheap stay option, it does the needful, however, there are many deceptions when it comes to the setup & food, as against what is described online. First up, forget about any kind of service, as they promote the statement of being a hostel & not hotel. Photos are deceptive, & though the property setup isn't bad particularly, yet, it is not as beautiful also as shown online. Food served via the in house kitchen, is at best below average. The only items you might like a little would be cold coffee & tea. Please don't even think about trying the poha, biryani or sandwich if you care for your taste buds. One amazing thing about the food available here is that even when you would find it useless, still you'll end up paying a fortune for the same, especially considering the setup USP (low budget). Hence, if possible, do try to manage your food from outside. Please be prepared to deal with an extensive house fly issue here (which as per the manager is incurable). Some games (like dart board) are just for show as the required accessories (darts) are not available. Overall maintenance of the property (rooms etc.) also comes across as a bit of a concern area. The list goes on.....hence, if you wish for a cheap stay at Mukteshwar and are ok with quite a few forced compromises, then this is the place for you. Enjoy!

There are just 5 rooms in this hotel so you get a very personalized service & attention. The property is surrounded by their own grown fruits & veggies which is very fascinating to see & not to forget the mountains. The food is excellent. The chef makes whatever we had ask for. Food - Day 1 dinner was very delicious especially the salad & pasta. On the 2nd day we were just 4 guest in the hotel due to last minute cancellation of the other guest so the dinner menu was cut down on that day. The Rice & Pizza (price on the higher side) were very average & sweet dishes was the same on both days which was surprising.(May be due to less guest on day 2) Not Happy - There are no fans/AC in any of the rooms which was a setback. Though the table fan was arranged the next afternoon after continuous request but I feel arrangements should be there prior only as other guest also had requested but were ok since the night temperature was between 12-18 degree. Since we had to checkout early morning (7am) we had request for sandwiches & fruits to have it on our way to Pantnagar airport but to my surprise the sandwiches were very bad & not eatable as the breads were not fresh. But overall it was relaxing place & we enjoyed.

We have three double rooms and three family rooms(upto 6 guests in each). We have a kitchen and dining area where a diverse cuisine is available along with tandoor and barbecue arrangements on request/demand. We have plenty of open and bonfire areas. We have a multipurpose hall for diverse usage. Adequate number of books, magazines, games and sports equipment are available. There is a playground in the vicinity. Ample covered and open parking area. An old temple on hilltop, with lots of trees. There is protected forest and terrace farms all around our place with a variety of treks & trails. Guests can trek, trail, hike, walk, birdwatch, picnic and safari around our place. Or just chill/relax and soak in the sun, fresh air, views of hills, forest, terrace farms, Himalayas, village life, in and around our place. Perfect for weekends, vacations, weddings, parties, special occasions, conferences, meetings, family/group get togethers, yoga & meditation camps.

Reviewed By nharariyaThe Perch is an awesome, secluded resort in the lap of Himalayas. It's situated away from the main Mukteshwar town amidst a jungle of deodar, rhododendron and himalayn oak that just creates an atmosphere (or 'mahaul' as we call it) of such tranquility and peace that you just want to 'be' there in whatever avatar you deem fit. The resort itself is really beautiful with each stay getting a view and small gardens with beautiful flowers. The rooms are also really spacious and have a feeling of openness. No one is going to feel claustrophobic here, I can assure you of that. Finally, the staff is really helpful and tended to our needs in whatever capacity they could. We got each service and all our requests tended to in due time and there weren't any restrictions to hinder our experience. The owner of the property stays there as well and can indulge you in the lores of the land and the mysteries therein. All in all, it was an ideal stay with friends. We could do what we wanted to and we take away all the memories we made thanks to the staff and the opportunities the resort provided. P.S.: there's a village just around the resort that you can visit for long conversations with pahadi aunties and delicious peaches, apples, apricots and many other fruits. The forests around are full of kaafal and plum, if you visit in the right season, that is.

I must say the location of the resort is at best place of Mukteshwar. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Resort staff were so courteous. Everything were just perfect. Our names were already mentioned there and rooms were allotted to respective team members as shared earlier. Resort natural ambiance cant explain in words. Seating in rooms balcony taking sun bath and admiring snow kept mountains view one of the greatest experience. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. One of the best part of our outing I want to share it here. Few teams members ask mid night jungal trek which was not planned earlier and not even informed to Resort staff and manager. But once Resort Manager Mr. Hari Singh come to know this he immediately arranged required logistics and guide for us and take us to jungle trek at midnight. One of the lifetime experience team had. I would like to Thanks to Mr. Mayank(Resort owner) he specially come there to greet us. Just amazing property and people.
