We tried the chicken pasta and a margarita pizza. The pasta had no salt and was very dry, the ketchup used in the margarita pizza wasn’t that great.
They may be using organic ingredients but the food quality needs to be improvised. Try the food at Chandi Maati or DYO organic farm instead.

With quite simplistic interiors and outlook Chandi mati cafe ensures that you taste the flavor of the some local food and share a wonderful experience!
So a must try to get a flavor of some authentic Kumaoni food and they also personalize for some specific requirement if need be.The thali is a must try.
Service quite good but they miss the promptness at times.

Absolutely fresh food served with smile and care by the owners themselves. What a charming place to sit out overlooking the Wilderness and the beautiful snow laden Himalayas peaks on a clear day. It was a treat to get a menu like that at 8000 ft. In India and then to get that authentic taste whether it is Pizza or Burger or Indian food Or the Mixed flavours and combinations of Ice-creams... Yum yum yum... Strongly recommended... A MUST VISIT place when you are in that part of hills.

Had the opportunity to meet the cafe owner,Yatendra Rawat.A thoroughly gifted chef who has an ability to concoct superb dishes. The hygiene levels are impeccable and ambience a treat to the eyes.I would definitely recommend this excellent cafe for any traveller-be it a local or a foreigner.
