This small hotel provides comfort in a convenient location. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and modern. It has a minimalist style, but enough bench space to be functional. Rooms 2, 3, 6 and 7 are slightly larger than the other 4 rooms. The wifi is good and it represents good value. The hotel is kept locked and you have to call for someone to let you in or out. Someone was always available.

This hotel appears to be almost brand new. Rooms are large and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and walk-in shower. My wife and I had to settle for a twin room, however. Staff are warm and friendly but don’t speak much English. The hotel also runs a nice restaurant which we ate at both nights we were there. This is also where the included breakfast is served, which was very good. Make sure you try the massage chair in the lobby if you’ve been hiking!

Awesome!

We stayed one night at this place and everything was perfect. Nice and comfy bed, heating, good size room and bathroom, perfect shower temperature. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. The parking situation is a bit difficult around and the hotel doesn’t have many spots, I guess you need to be lucky in high season. It’s also possible to park in the small street were the hotel is located.

1 night stay, do not stay here.

This place is terrible. I have to say after a lot of emails we did get our money back . We had a family room ,even though there was only 2of us ,but we paid the price for a family room... not a problem . Arrived and the lady who greeted us was lovely. Towels and bedding were clean but the room was absolutely filthy. We were told we could leave but having driven a very long way we decided not to. We went out for a meal and some wine . When we got back ,the owner was waiting for us. Oh my what a terrible offensive ,rude man . I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world but I have never experienced a landlord like this. He accused us of being drunk, shouted at us for complaining. The whole hostel looks like no money has been put into it since the 80s. Take a look at my photos.. you did not want bare feet in this room. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review about a hotel . It took me a long time to decide wether to write this or not. I decide others should not pay to stay here.

Hotel Casa Panguipulli

Hotel Casa Panguipulli is a Boutique Hotel very near the town of Panguipulli (1,5km), and located in a nice distance to Huilo Huilo (40kms) and Villarica. Being in the heart of the seven lakes tour, we are an option to any traveler. The views to Villarica Volcano, and the lake with it's town named after it hugging it, will make staying with us a unique experience. We count on free parking and wifi, two pools (one solar heated), and restaurant service exclusive for our guests, with menus prepared daily "home made" in Casa Panguipulli with fresh product of the south and season with a mix of our own grown vegetables. Perfect place to "go home" after a long day, or to relax near the chimney.

Utterly laid back with lovely food

Reviewed By OntCommon

As previous reviewers have noted, on arrival the only staff present were the lovely, helpful but non-English speaking kitchen ladies! They couldn’t have been nicer and managed to telephone the young manager who arrived within ten minutes and spoke excellent English. Check-in formalities were minimal and we were shown to our magnificent room with a wonderful view over Lake Panguipulli and the Volcan Villarica. The whole interior of the hotel is beautifully designed and tastefully furnished with an open-plan lounge and dining area. The rooms are all very well proportioned and all have views over the lake. However access from the covered car park area does involve a large flight of steps. The hotel boasts a swimming pool but this is really only a plunge pool and disappointingly, although the weather was hot and sunny in late November, it had not been cleaned ready for use in the new season. We chose to stay at the hotel for dinner and were not disappointed. We had “lomo” and trout, each accompanied by expertly stir-fried vegetables, and a perfectly fresh green salad. Together with a very good bottle of Carmenere this made an excellent meal. Breakfast in the morning was equally good with lots of choice and perfect scrambled eggs made to order. In summary this is a lovely hotel offering excellent food and location but it lacked the attention to detail that could make it absolutely first class.

Great alternate to Bioreservo Huilo Huilo

Reviewed By Aegir101

After getting jerked around by the bad service on the Huilo Huilo bioreserve website and by their equally bad customer service, I found this place on google maps. It is a great little hotel in Neltume in between the lodges at the reserve (Magic Mountain/Nothofagus/tree houses etc.) and the reserve front gate. You can rent various geodesic dome cabanas from 2 to 8 people. Our dome was OK the skylight leaked the first day in a torrential rain, but the manager was super nice and took care of it by moving the furniture and putting in lined buckets to avoid drip noise and the next day the repairman caulked the window. she also helped book a white water rafting trip in Choshuenco the next day. The domes are cozy, great for families with 2 twin beds above for the kids to watch the stars at night and a bathroom and bedroom below with privacy for adults plus a kitchenette. The price of $160 a night sure beat $410 a night at Nothofagus. Downside is Lorena the manager only speaks spanish if you cant write or speak it might be challenging for you plus you have to pay in cash with an advance by Western Union (no credit cards) also no internet connection, I was able to book rom outside Chile with no problems however. Neltume is a mostly cash operation except for the minimart in town and the reserve pizzeria and hotel restaurants and the nearest ATM is in Panguipuli 1h away so come prepared. Overall a great experience with easy access to all the adventure sports at the reserve, I would recommend it,

Not what I was expecting.

Reviewed By Charlie B

We booked for 3 adults, and were expecting a cabaña like one shown on the pictures here. We got a triple room in a house (I think belonging to the family who own these other cabañas. It was clean, and decent, with quite a reasonable breakfast. However, it wasn't out in the fields, but in the little town of Neltume... Which is a great location in a way, but not the most attractive place. Also, Neltume, like many places in Chile, has a bit of a stray dog problem, and these were howling and barking through the night near our window.
