Reviewed By J_Amsterdam12We stayed 3 nights with 2 friends. Room is clean and balcony is large. Nice to sit in the evening for a drink. Breakfast is fresh, good. They offered to bake eggs for us, which we did not decline ofcourse. Hosts are very friendly, want to help with all your questions. Rooms are in german/austrian wooden style.

Reviewed By 567philipsBooked to stay for a few days, very good communications. The place is all modernised and clean. Unfortunetly they do not do evenning meals or open the bar, but only a small ride on the bike and found a really good bar that served food. Bart, the owner, very friendly and accomadating,. Letting us keep the bikes and trailer in the hallway downstairs.. Breakfast was very good. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you Bart

Reviewed By 797baukekWe enjoyed our stay very much at this lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant next door is a must! Excellent authentic Austrian cuisine. From this location you can visit all the sites in the area in both Austria and Bavaria and its much more quiet.

Scenic cabin in the alps!
Reviewed By postcardsnmagnetsThe cabin was very artistic, with authentic Austrian feeling. Everything was so amazing, especially the view from the balcony. We could directly see the alps from the balcony. There was enough parking space and the parking was also free of cost. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. There were a lot of vegetarian options as well. Some of the nozzles of the shower were non functioning. Also the location of the toilet seat was very weirdly positioned very close to the washing basin, which made it very uncomfortable to sit on the toilet. Rest everything was perfect.

A charming house with wonderful hosts!

I forgot several presents for my Mom in our room, and Theresa sent the parcel to Germany several days later!!! I cannot describe how grateful me and my mother were. Cross Country Ski Trip
Reviewed By John MWe stayed at the Hotel Hochland for 3 days in February, 2014 while on a cross country ski vacation. We were very happy with our choice. Our room was very nice and absolutely spotless. The view from our balcony was awesome. We had half board and both breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Frau Schiefer even translated the daily menu into English just for us. Our skis arrived late (misplaced by the airline for 3 days). Herr Schiefer referred us to a local ski shop Sports Wedl where we rented skis until our own skis arrived. We really enjoyed our time in Leutasch. It is a great place for a cross country ski vacation. Skiing is a community activity with people of all ages and speeds on the trails. There are lots of outdoor bars and restaurants along the trails where it is possible to stop for a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) or some food (or both). Alternatively, you can just sit on a bench in a sunny spot and watch other skiers go by until you are ready to continue.
