Reviewed By zenchidoMy family and I stayed at the Sen Trang hotel because it was highly recommended by a few of my friends. For a reasonably low price, we couldn't believe how clean and spacious our rooms were. What I likes the most was there variety of western food, which was hard to find in that city of Vietnam. The spaghetti was awesome. The coffee was very unique and specially designed by the hotel's owner. Definitely a great place to stay while you are in Lao Cai, if you want to experience friendly and family type service. I find this great of service rare these days.

Reviewed By MeauzEen ok hotel om te verblijven. We hebben dit hotel gekozen om de ligging. Treinstation is niet heel ver hier vandaan en vanuit de locatie is het makkelijker meerdere locaties in de omgeving te bezoeken zoals sa pa en Bac ha. Qua ligging wel aan te raden als je meer dan alleen sa pa wilt bezoeken. Wat erg jammer was is dat ze werkelijk geen woord Engels spreken, maar met gebaren kom je een heel eind. De medewerkers waren zeer vriendelijk. Zonder kosten kregen we een zeer late check out en de kamer faciliteiten waren over t algemeen in orde alles wat nodig is was aanwezig. Behalve de badkamer we hadden namelijk geen warm water. Waarschijnlijk hadden we net pech omdat het stuk was. Het was gelukkig erg warm weer dus n koele douche was niet zo erg.

Dishonest, terrible service
Reviewed By sunset1223After booking on air bnb via instant book, this hotel did not honor our reservation when we showed up Saturday night before the Sunday market. We ate the bad food at their restaurant and booked a room for the following night. On Sunday morning we checked in and gave them our passports, but left our luggage behind the desk as our room wasn't ready. We also left our laundry, which we were told would be ready at 2pm. When we returned to move into our room at 1, they informed us that they had overbooked once again and we would need to take our luggage and leave. We found a better hotel and came back for our laundry in the evening. Unfortunately we were informed that it wouldn't be ready until the following day, when we had planned to leave. They assured us it would be ready for our 8am departure. Fortunately, we pushed back the departure, for when we returned for our laundry at 9am, it was still wet. When I asked if it could be dried before our noon departure, I was roughly pushed aside and the man stormed off with our laundry. We did receive mostly-dry laundry just before we left, but our experiences at this hotel were unprofessional and disappointing. Do not trust them for any of your needs.

Filthiest hotel I’ve ever been to
Reviewed By nicoc242We’ve stayed one night at this hotel and we were happy not having to stay any longer. Not only did the room smell like cigarettes (you could argue that the hotel couldn’t help that), the room was also very dirty. There was trash under the bed and other people’s hair in the shower. No chance in the world that we would ever go back to Kim Cuong hotel.
