Just a short walk from the village centre, (short incline, but worth it) for beautiful views right outside the window! The pictures don’t do it justice. There was a last minute cancellation so our room was kindly upgraded. Jill and Dave were lovely hosts and even with the rainy weather - it didn’t matter because we hardly wanted to leave the accomodation! Would definitely be back for a visit next time we are in Hanmer :)

Reviewed By HansE413This is our second stay at Cheltenham House, and we found it as charming as the first. Maree and Len, our hosts, are gracious and attentive. The guest facilities are comfortable and tasteful, with antique furniture and original art. Our suite is amply resourced and warm, the garden well tended and charming in its autumn colours. The attractively cooked breakfast set us up beautifully for the day's adventures. The property is quiet, secluded, and yet less than a block from the village centre. Forest walks and cycling opportunities abound. Altogether, it made for a very satisfying two-day stay. We will be back!

Located in a quiet spot away from the road yet only 250 meters from the Thermal Hot Pools and all that Hanmer Springs has to offer, Spa Lodge Motel is set in a peaceful garden setting and offers eleven units ranging from studios to spacious one and two-bedroom units. Julie very kindly allocated the vacant room’s quota to us to accommodate the teenagers. I have stayed here on numerous occasions since 2011 and have always enjoyed a warm, friendly service from both Steve & Julie. For this reason it is my honour to recommend their facility to anyone looking for clean, warm and welcoming accommodation.

The breakfast was a big disappoitment

Unfortunately, is was a real disappointment, as all the food served to us was loaded with sugar (caramel slice cakes, jam, yogurt, cereal, even the fruit was in some kind of sweet syrup). It felt like 3 deserts were served at once. No proteins, nothing not sweet. For someone, who doesn’t eat much sugar, there was not much to eat. It is a pity, as we could see, that the owners put a lot of effort into preparation of the food, which all tasted the same – sweet. There was also lack of privacy, as there was no curtain in the bedroom. The rooms were serviced when we were there (beds were made, and rubbish removed) but the place was not vacuumed. On the contrary, the shower was excellent and the spa pool was also very nice.

Reviewed By geordiej139This is the best fasting retreat I've ever been on. Mary Jo & Steve were fantastic hosts, guides, chefs, yoga teachers, health coaches. Massage therapy services were excellent. My friend and I stayed in the Alpine Villa and loved the private hot tub, amazing shower and comfortable accommodations. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting a health reset. Knowledgable, compassionate, funny, kind, generous hosts, Mary Jo & Steve went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable, nourished, cared for and encouraged every step of the way. I will be back!

A warm welcome awaits you at Annerleigh. Elegant spacious rooms with en-suites, LCD TV, Broadband and tea and coffee making facilities. Fully centrally heated and beautiful open fires. The "Crusader" Lounge, especially for guests' use, boasts 2 metre large screen TV ideal for watching your favourite sport or film. Close to the golf course and pitch and putt and driving range. Short walk to thermal pools and restaurants via the picturesque Crawford Walkway. Other activities include forest walks, cycling tracks or just enjoying the clear mountain air. Wonderful mountain views from all windows plus wide, sunny verandas where you can enjoy the views while you relax with a glass of wine or a coffee. We know you will enjoy your stay at Annerleigh.

False advertising this is not luxery
Reviewed By wattys4Having stayed at many motels in Hanmer we thought we should push the boat out a bit for this visit in lieu of our anniversary. Advertised as luxery boutique and looking at photos online we thought this would be move. It was so below average. The room was so small we couldn't both be on the same side at once and there was only room got one bag not 2, the jug had to be filled in the toilet, there was no air conditioning, the heater was a joke on the wall aimed at the fridge, there was no red wine glasses and the glasses that were there were small and so outdated, the sun wakes you up in the morning shining through the blinds straight into your eyes. This is budget accommodation do do not be mistaken like we were. If the price was also budget it would be fine, but its not. Look elsewhere.
