Located right alongside one of ‘s-Hertogenbosch’s biggest tourist attractions, the gothic St. John’s Cathedral, and just above the liveliest restaurant street in the Netherlands: that is The Duke Hotel. Being just a two minute walk from both the Noordbrabants Museum and the departure point for the boat trips on the Binnendieze underground waterway, this is the ideal spot for anyone wanting to explore Brabant’s beautiful capital. As one enthusiastic guest commented: “The Duke is a cool urban address and a great place to stay for a city break.” An additional advantage is that the hotel is run by locals who know the city inside out. They share their love for the city and its hidden places with passion. Come and discover the real ’s-Hertogenbosch..!
We booked an 8 night stay at The Duke for our first trip to Den Bosch. The property, location, staff, accommodations and room far exceeded our expectations. We have already booked our return trip! You truly can’t match the location or the amazing staff and service.

Hotel Haverkist is located in the heart of the city center. A characteristic place where people of ‘s-Hertogenbosch can be the Burgundian they love to be. You will sleep in one of many historic gems of the city, surrounded by cozy cafes, good restaurants and hip little wine bars.
Conveniently and centrally located and reasonably priced only marks the beginning of this great accommodation experience. I was personally greeted at the car park by Ron, the owner. This was indicative of the great customer service that followed. Hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were a great size and the bed super comfortable. The coffee in the hotel was of a very high standard and available on tap 24 hours a day. Even though the hotel has immediate access to the bar district I have to say that the external soundproofing was incredibly effective. I slept like a baby! Breakfast in the morning at a nearby coffee shop was well balanced, local, and high quality and included the best cappuccino I have enjoyed in Europe so far! The Dutch don’t mess about when it comes to coffee! You can do no wrong staying here. Very highly recommended.

In a nut shell: a very disappointing stay that I wouldn’t repeat. I had high expectations given the good reviews. I stayed solo in room 6 (suite, top floor, two flights of stairs) by myself for two nights as a birthday treat. Plus points Location excellent. Great terrace l. Bed and shower were great. TV size good. Toiletries fine. Minibar is free. tea and coffee making facilities in room. Staff approachable, friendly and but not very good at responding to a bit of negativity. For example, I was asked how I I slept and I was honest and said that I didn’t sleep well because of the heat. And was promptly asked If I had put the airco on. Well, of course I had but having that whirr on the whole night and breathing in airco air is not quite my idea of pleasant. My breakfast order of scrambled eggs without bacon (I am a vegetarian) came with bacon and when unmentioned it, the waitress said that she thought I wanted it and left, returning minutes later with the same plate minus the bacon but lots of grease instead. Terrible presentation of food! And a disappointing breakfast on my last day While I couldn’t hear the terraces and bars in my room for the most part, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for those who are looking for peace and quiet in the hotel room in the evening. After 10pm, everything was closed due to the current COVID rules but I have no idea how that would work out once the rules change. Minus points Room size misleading. I booked a suite thinking I could maybe work a little in the room, but the seating area is a small table and two chairs. Just enough space to fit a laptop and a cup of coffee. There were two very small windows in the living area so no view. It all felt a bit claustrophobic. I did ask them to check I was actually in a suite and was told that I was indeed in a suite; larger royal suites are across the road. I can only imagine how boxy the deluxe rooms are. Low beams mean that taller guests may have to stoop in the room. And the bathroom and toilet are open plan i.e. no door so no privacy. This might be an issue for some guests. Shame these points are not mentioned in the site. Also housekeeping store towels etc. in a sort of room right next to the suite, so you can hear everything they say to one another and any times the doors are unlocked and locked or someone comes up the stairs. Above room 6 there is also a room. I could hear people walking around around above me. Room was also warm which I expected given the weather. Although the air conditioning worked well, I don’t think it would be very healthy to keep it on all night. So, I didn’t but I woke up a few times in a sweat. Tip: call beforehand and ask questions on room location and room size before booking. I wish I had.

Located close to the historic old town of ’s-Hertogenbosch, this is the ideal base for culture lovers and city trippers. Its convenient location with regard to various (national) parks and nature reserves means that many nature lovers make their way to de Soete Moeder monastery hotel. Families can rent a comfy apartment while the hotel’s tranquil surroundings make it ideally suited to business guests. Or as a previous guest commented: “We really enjoyed a hotel in an original context and with a delicious breakfast, {…} The rooms are chique and trendy, with reference to their past but adapted to modern comfort.” With its stylish furnishings, the monastery hotel is an attraction in itself. The beautifully restored chapel is ideally suited to meetings. The plaque from the Kring Vrienden ’s-Hertogenbosch (’s-Hertogenbosch Friends Circle) shows that the listed building has been restored with respect for the past. During the summer you can settle down with a drink in the large monastery gardens. Lively ’s-Hertogenbosch offers interesting sights such as St. John’s Cathedral, the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center and various lovely historic passages with countless restaurants and shops. You can view the town from a different angle during a boat trip on the Binnendieze. Its central location means you can visit the Efteling, Beekse Bergen, the Autotron and nature reserves such as the Loon and Drunen Dunes, the Bossche Broek and the Moerputten from the hotel.
Situated in a quiet street close to the city center. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Our bed was extra large and very comfy. The shower isn’t very firm, but ok. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Experience the grandeur of the 1900s in today’s comfort in De Blauwe Pauw (Blue Peacock) Boutique Hotel in ’s‑Hertogenbosch. This warm and hospitable bed & breakfast is housed in a colonial town house dating back to 1899 with an Art Nouveau conservatory and highly decorated ceilings. This fits in perfectly with a stay at the most hospitable city in the Netherlands and its rich history, listed buildings, museums, shops and many cafes and restaurants. Or to quote a previous guest: “A warm welcome, good beds, a wonderful shower, great breakfast, and all this in a beautiful building. You will be really pampered here and we’ll definitely be back. The hospitality was outstanding, wonderful luxurious accommodation and a delicious breakfast.”
Staying here was quite an experience. A warm welcome by the landlord who enthusiastically explained the art nouveau features of this late 19th C building. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom and excellent beds. All superlatives apply to the breakfast dominated by local produce and including fresh fruits and very good fresh coffee. Decorations in the breakfast room amount to a journey into peacockania. Street parking, but no public charging station in the vicinity (Jan 2020).

Uylenhof Hotel is situated in the historical heart of 's-Hertogenbosch. In a quiet street but with shops, restaurants and cafe's around the corner. Located in walking distance of the train station, Saint Johns cathedral, museums and beautiful nature. Eight luxury spacious hotel apartments have been realized in the recently renovated and restored historical building. Feel like a local living in your own city apartment.
self-serve beer fridge in courtyard open 24/7, so of course the party was on at 3am · Great location, nice staff, decent breakfast with high quality foods. · Charming overall aesthetic, location and staff. This though is not a hotel so much as a set of Airbnb-type apartments where they hand you a tray of nice breakfast. Carpet was clean but stained and covered entire floor including kitchen. Dishes/cutlery with 4 of everything, some times 2, so if you are there for a few days you will wash some dishes. Decent cookware but no sharp knife, only butter knives. Shower drain was slow and overflowed, and we could not find anyone around to help. Here though is the major issue. Our room was quite hot (and we weren't there on the heatwave days, can't imagine). The sun shines directly into the room all afternoon until late sunset and no cross-ventilation. The room overlooked an interior courtyard where other hot guests drank and chatted, including one group at 2:45am upon returning from the bars, where they continued to drink out of the large refrigerator full of beer and wine the hotel supplies on the honor system. So our sleeping choice was close the windows and roast, or open them and be part of the noisy 3am party. At $200 a night this is totally unacceptable.

Location wise, this place is perfect. Central station is around the corner and it is located at the edge of down town Den Bosch. Perfect arrival where our luggage was taken and we were given directions to the parking less than 5mins walking away. Pleasant and hassle free check in to a beautful room on the second and top floor. Nice fireplace and a small balcony. The room is big, spacious and well kept. I really liked the big fridge on the 1st floor with free drinks and a place to store your own. Handy in covid times. The hotel is quite, no noise from other guests or from the street. We did not have brekkie and preferred to walk into town. Very nice stay. Warmly recommended

KASerne Boutique Hotel, Grand Café, Meeting & Events.
Heel gewoon eigenlijk. Een prima tent voor een lunch, maar niet wekelijks zoals sommigen dit plegen te doen.

Arriving late at night and exhausted after an international flight we found ourselves lost in trying to find Bossche Suites. We called asking for directions and after that they kept in contact with us till we arrived. Thanks to them being incredibly concerned and helpful we found our way. We stayed in the Theater suite which was unbelievably beautiful. The fire place situated in front of our bed made the room cozy and warm. Coffee and tea station with only the best. Bathroom and shower stocked with shampoo, soap, body cream, conditioner and a hairdryer. Breakfast is served in the room which we loved. The bed is honestly the most comfortable we have slept in. Bossche Suites is centrally located. Walking distance to almost everywhere. WiFi fast. We loved our stay here and honestly did not want to leave. We will be back.

B&B CubaCasa in Den Bosch offers a warm, South American ambiance. Bed and breakfast CubaCasa is one of the best accommodations in the city and is situated in a top location. When you look at the beautifully restored façade of the classic building (erected in 1894) situated at the Buitenhaven 4 in 's-Hertogenbosch, you hardly believe that a completely different world is hidden behind these walls: the warm world of South America. In CubaCasa you will feel as though you are in Cuba or in any of the other South American countries. Not only because of the building and its furnishing, but also thanks to the way in which the host makes you feel at home. Staying at bed and breakfast CubaCasa will surely allow you to unwind!
We Stayed in two different rooms. The library room with bubble bath and the suite. The bubble bath was very nice, the beds were excellent and the suite was above expectations. The people were also sweet.
