Stayed here for a wedding in local hotel. Top class, lovely friendly (but not at all over bearing) hosts, spotless, great location and lovely breakfast. Was very stormy weather and we were so happy to return to our cosy, warm beds that night. Recommend without hesitation.

Great stay!

Reviewed By 338shaunaf

We stayed for one night and couldn’t fault the place! Patricia was so friendly and welcoming. We travelled with our 10 week old baby and nothing was too much hassle. Our room was really spacious and fit our travel cot with plenty of room to move around. At breakfast Patricia offered to get us a Moses basket for the baby while we ate but our little girl was far too nosy for that! We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area!

Mountainbike trails like a ski resort

In August we stayed in the Mountain Inn (MI) in Coolaney, nearby the newly created mountainbike trails (Coolaney MTB trails) of Coillte in the Ox Mountains. MI host David had a warm welcome for us, a Dutch family loving to go mountainbiking outdoors. The Coillte trails feel like a ski resort, but then adapted for MTB fans. Black, red and blue tracks available, depending on your MTB skills. You will be awarded a great view over the oean.
