Originally we were a bit disappointed we couldn’t find an apartment to rent in Cork for our dates but what a pleasure it turned out to be to stay here. Everything is extremely well done and comfortable with everything you need and more. Kathleen was so warm, helpful and knowledgeable and she gave us lots of information to help us make the most of our stay. A lovely breakfast with lots of choice and freshly cooked to order. We all wished we could have stayed for longer. Highly recommended.

Our room faced the street and harbor, but we did not have any outside noise. Great location, great breakfast, and wonderful hosts. We have recommended it to others already.

Wonderful Stay !!!

A wonderful stay along the Wild Atlantic Way. Margaret and Jim are a super nice couple. Their house is extremely clean and wonderful with great views. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had preferred to take a en-suite room which was great. The breakfast was very nice and Jim & Margaret were absolutely great hosts. It shows that they really love hosting and having conversations with people. Margaret was super easy to converse with with questions we had during the booking. The WiFi is great . There is ample parking. It is not too far from Clonakilty as we were there on a day when most restaurants were closed in Rosscarbery.

Large bedroom and bath. Great breakfast and super nice hosts. Would have loved to stay longer at this B&B. Only surprise was when we got there we were told cash payment when I don't recall being informed in advance. Beautiful view and close to a park that memorializes 9/11 care providers.

Very comfortable

Reviewed By Jody W

The B&B is just outside the city centre, so be prepared for a 30 minute walk or pay for a taxi. We had our own bikes, so this made the process of getting to and from the city much easier. There are plenty of bike racks in the city centre, so you're able to lock them up while shopping or sightseeing. The room was well equipped, spacious and comfortable but at €150 per night, this is no more than I'd expect. Our room had access to a lovely garden and as we had great weather, it was perfect to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. The breakfast was very tasty and perfectly cooked and the staff were very attentive and pleasant.

Lunch

Reviewed By LaraBloom

Very expensive menu for what it is... very poor quality of food and bad service. 18 Euro for a burger that was utterly cremated. We have been to the Schull harbour hotel for lunch before the new management (New Haven Kinsale) and it was lovely. Unfortunately this new firm think they can charge city prices, hire inexperienced staff and not deliver quality. Their service staff are friendly but absolutely clueless. We had chips delivered with our starter. As a local it saddens me that this key hotel in Schull has declined so rapidly. I also heard that they turned away 6 locals for a 6.30pm dinner when the restaurant was empty as they had a table booking for 8pm... unless word of mouth delivers a better review of this place for lunch, we wont be back.

A place where you can fall out of bed, and fall into the action. You need the basics. A really comfy bed, a shower with power, a big smart TV, and lightning-fast Wi-Fi. We stayed four nights and really enjoyed our stay. The property is right on the water with a nice view. The room had a balcony where we could sit in the evening and relax. The people there went out of their way to make our stay good. In particular Irene and Bridie were the best! The restaurant is excellent and we ended up eating all our evening meals there as well as breakfasts.
