We are family running. Our location is in the center of Bukittinggi. You can reach in 5-10 minutes by walk to the most of landmarks in Bukittinggi: Jam Gadang, Fort De Kock, Zoo, Pasar Atas and 15 minutes to Panorama Park. Also, there are many restaurants for Minang Kabau food (Typical West Sumatera Region Food) and many cafes for taking a rest and eating.

Exceptionally clean, cheap, good WiFi connection, stylish ambience as u can see how nicely meticulous it is decorated by the owner Ling, who is very approachable, whom you can have a good chat with as a friend. I stayed in the capsule dorm and it is comfortable with good quality facilities, every guest should experience it, very reasonable price 130000 rupiah per night with really sumptuous breakfast.

Amazing Experience
Reviewed By Paul DHaving travelled to many parts of Indonesia, and all over south east asia. The ecolodge was hands down the best place we have stayed. The location in the middle of a padi field was picturesque. The rooms were spacious and tradionally decorated which the owner built all the lodges himself. Food was simple but tastey and well made, and the staff were amazing. We will never stay in a more unique location. Thanks for the stay? Paul & Sheena from Ireland

Reviewed By franziska kI am very Bamboozled as to WHY this dump has high ratings on some sites. Ok Bukittinggi does not have many nice options. But this was by faaaar the most disgusting place I stayed at in Indonesia. I sometimes use shower sandals and in THIS PLACE i did not want to use them cause I didnt want to get horriffic germs on my shower sandals.lol. On arrival there was a "reception"hut which smelled of smoke and had a huge ashtray filled with butts. Our room...I had to take a big step Back as the door opened. It STANK OF MOLD SO BADLY.the walls were all flaky from moisture..the room had an old red carpet which stank and it was so dirty(you could not clean it if you tried and it is not a good idea to have carpet in this climate.lol) Towels smelled just the same.room looked Nothing like in pics(well..pics do not have smell attached) The house smelled badly too and was furnished with old ugly sofas. In all fairness the owner was nice and I felt bad for saying that the room was terrible.he said he can call me a cab to go to a different hotel.it was late and we stayed one night. But if you have been spoiled in Bali and Bukit Lawang or Lake Toba before..you need to know this is NOT on the same level or the same "Value for Money"as guest houses there. I would not recommend it.also if you are an animal lover you will cry while having your breakfast cause you are surrounded by beautiful exotic birds which are in cages. The shower worked good and there was coffe available. The place is often full with local tourists. I wish they would remodel and take out the old carpets and put tile !!!!

Not good but if desperate can choose
Reviewed By J4682YZroberthThis hotel is located next to a mosque so your windows literally shake from the speakers. If that’s your thing it’s fine but don’t expect to sleep. The accommodation is expensive compared to other places nearby and not as nice as I found elsewhere in Bukit Tinggi. Staff was ok but not for breakfast. I won’t be going back here.

Reviewed By Ika-Soegiantothis is shari'i hotel ( moslem hotel, couples need to bring wedding certificate ) room and bathroom was small room was not sound proof , i could hear people talked in their room everytime i walked on the aisle . i got room which face the new building next door = no view at all , where the workers were still working in the evening . the elevator was very slow and small that could bring 4 people only with their luggage. breakfast was basic, taste was not special. had dinner on the restaurant, limited menu, taste was also just okay. the waiter who also cooked our dinner , was attentive though the good thing, hotel was walking distance to Jam Gadang and market parking space was very limited just for around max 10 cars .

Nice hotel for the price
Reviewed By I Wayan SIt's a simple hotel, or i could say basic hotel, with just around 200k idr you get breakfast and hot water on the shower. The room is small and not too much choices on the tv channel, no water jug and a little bit noice with the beds... but overall it's a good place to stay. Note that when night comes the weather can become pretty cold. Keep up the good work. :)
