Once there you can enjoy the excellent service and attention of the owners( charming couple) , great but simple food and bedrooms with fantastic views

Reviewed By 80erikwHaving read through some of the reviews I was surprised to see after staying hear that there were some negative reviews including not being worth the trip from the capital....well if you've got to the capital and cannot manage another 30 minute trip out into the mountains then best stay at home and save yourself the trouble of traveling in the first place. Having spent 2 nights here I have to stay I cannot fault it, granted its not got the cosy welcoming fire in the lounge area or a coffee machine in the room but it's spectacular scenery, friendly staff and fabulous food (which was a particular highlight) I loved my stay here....if the hotel can keep the staff and the chef then who needs a roaring log fire....a rare fine that has paid off handsomely!!! A large bouquet of flowers to all the staff....

Reviewed By WokinghamWonderlustThis hotel is good value, it is clean, has friendly staff and is only a 6-7 minute walk to the Gondola Station. The bar area is also comfortable and good value and was visited by locals/seasonal workers on occassions. There are no additional leisure facilities at the hotel. The food was plentiful and the room was of reasonable size however there are aspects of meals and the room that could easily be improved. The food selection and quanity available was good, however cooked items for all meals were prepared early and then left under heated lamps and so some items became dry and overcooked, eggs at breakfast and lamb at dinner being two examples. Instead of spending a significant time preparing so much food in advance of meal times, the kitchen would do better to refresh the dishes on two or three occassions during mealtimes. Our room was a good size, clean and had comfortable beds and a fully functional bathroom with plenty of hot water. However although there was plenty of wall space, there were no hooks to hang damp ski gear and outdoor clothing, not even on the back of the door and there was very limited hanging or drawer space. All three of these things are absolutely essential in a ski hotel. These critisisms could be so easily fixed, I hope the owners can address these issues. I would definately return and strongly recommend this hotel to those on a budget if they were.

The street outside the hotel is blocked off to traffic except for residents and hotel guests. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is an elevator and limited private parking. The room and hotel common spaces were exceptionally clean! We had room 29 which has a balcony and view of the church, square and mountains. Note: the church bell rings at least four times per hour.

Got woken up by drunk Irish and English people every single night due to very thin walls. The hotel should have had night staff to tell people to be quiet. - Small rooms. We got allocated room 404 which was extremely small for 5 people, but could change to room 404 which was a little bit bigger. The rooms lack space to hang all the ski clothes, the hotel should put up some hooks on the walls. And please put in a toilet brush! Also missed duvets, instead of just a sheet and a dirty bedspread. - The dinner buffet, although cheap, was of poor quality and felt unhygienic.

The hotel also provides linens, towels and daily cleaning. The property has a fantastic sunny terrace, sports bar and lounge for guests and the public to enjoy. The hotel is located less than 2.5 km Soldeu cable car and 4.7km from the ski lifts of Grau Roig, giving access to more than 200km of linked ski slopes. In addition, the hotel is ideal for excursions on snowshoes and cross-country skiing location as there are fabulous trails that start right at the hotel. In spring, summer and autumn, the hotel is an ideal base for enjoying nature and activities. The hotel also has a bar with a fireplace, a café and a restaurant serving typical mountain dishes. Packed lunches can be requested.
Perfect hotel for a large group
Reviewed By TwoDinners15Hotel Peretol, including Laura and her amazing team - especially Bruno and Lutxi, was the perfect place for our group of 18. The whole team looked after us so well including booking 18 seats at a local restaurant, advising on everything from car parking to ski routes, aswell as arranging our lift passes and ski hire prior to arrival. The hotel is in the perfect place if you like the fun park and allows ski in ski out. It's a little way out of town, but this really wasn't a problem as the bar is well stocked, and with a group including children we weren't too interested, but if you are keen on going into Soldeu it's only a 3 minute drive. A bit like other reviews, I'm loathed to race too much in case it gets too popular and we're unable to book again!

All together a quite good stay
Reviewed By 290esteraWe choose the Hotel La Burna for our romantic snowboard trip of NYE celebration. The price is absolutely reasonable. We requested to change our room for a double bed one, and the lady was so helpful not only with this, but in general. The location is absolutely great to escape and recharge yourself and peace and quiet with a breathtaking landscape, however it takes only 7-8 minutes’ drive to the Vall Nord Lift in La Massana and only minutes drive until the next lift stop to have free parking. The hotel had very nice warm and cosy room, the active fireplace was absolutely addition in the restaurant for the atmosphere. The breakfast was a good selection of “ a bit of everything”, which we really enjoyed! We decided to stay for dinner a couple of evenings and that was such a lovely decision! We had delicious 3 course meals (well portioned) for absolutely great price! In fact we spent our NYE in the hotel and the dinner was amazing without spending a fortune! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and kind! We would defiantly be back! We highly recommend it for families, but also for couples for a getaway to explore Andorra or do winter sports! Great Value Hotel
Reviewed By frankaB6530PFCame across this while looking for ski accomodation for Grand Valraria in Andorra. Prices for any accom on or near to the slopes this year have gone through the roof. As I was driving there anyway I looked a little away from the slopes. This location is about a 2-3 minute drive to the main access lift to Pal/Arinsal, or 12-15 minutes to Encamp the nearest Grand Valarira access point. The hotel also ofeers free parking which is a bonus. Room was basic but bed was comfy. Bathroom with bath & shower. Lacked some storage space but we coped. Booked a B& B deal for 6 nights mid Feb only 360 euro for 2! From the third night on they did open the hotel dining area for a buffet dinner. As so often with buffets the food wasn;t really piping hot but was OK. The salad was excellent as was the desert options and all for 12 euro!!! Bargain. We only expected a contenental breakfast but from the 2nd day they did but out 'hot' well again not too hot options. Eggs and bacon or sausage. All in all would eromend this if you have your own transport.
