Reviewed By Ben-MichelleStayed for a couple of night here. The room was fabulous. We picked a superior room with terrace. The bed was huge and loads of storage space. Room also had bath and shower and was spotlessly clean. Hotel breakfast is amazing. So much choice, pretty much everything to suit was eggs made to order. The chap on reception also spoke good English and was very helpful with maps etc. The only downside stopping this from being a five is that the beds are too firm for my tastes and there are not many restaurants nearby, a short walk up the street.

It is located next to Parc Central and close to the Thermal Centre of Caldea, and with easy access to the ski slopes of Vallnord and GrandValira. It has a total of 121 room units embedded in urban and modern architecture. They are equipped with direct dial telephone, TV with 30 national channels and via satellite, free WIFI, mini bar, digital safe, Bathrobes, letter pads, desk. They are soundproofed and have individual climate control. The bathroom with hairdryer, direct dial telephone and set of amenities. Acta Arthotel hotel's facilities include the Aquarella SPA, which has a dry sauna, Turkish bath, fog, ice fountain, foot baths, experience showers and Scottish shower massage. It also features 5 external meeting rooms with writing materials, water and bonbons. All of them are located on the 5th floor of the hotel overlooking the Valira river.

It has so many variations and it was good. The part i didnt like was the food at the restaurant. The food is very expensive and it also was cold... The location is very good beacuse its was on the center. It has a parking wich is not free but atleast you can secure your car there. And in the breakfast there is a machine to do natural orange juice. But the machine is horrible and its hard to make juice, please buy a new machine

Entrance/reception/restaurant - pleasantly surprised how lovely this was, the restaurant and all the staff were super friendly, joked with the kids and the variety of food from breakfast and dinner hit the mark every time. With alcohol reasonably priced and a variety of evening meals you can't complain, all the food was spot on. I personally didn't think much of the bar area as this was not the kind of place you sat around drinking, but had everything you wanted if needed. Bedrooms - we had two rooms, both spacious, clean, views of the mountains and very warm. No issue with heating as previously read and plenty of hot water and pressure. Rooms were cleaned daily and left very clean. Location - fantastic, if you want to be close to the ski lifts you only have to walk down the road for maybe 3 minutes, stop along the way back up and visit the 360 Restaurant for a drink in the sun. Overall we were delighted with the accomoation/food/location and would rebook without any hesitation.

I’m being generous with a 4 star, just because the rest of the staff are very nice and the hotel itself is beautiful. Andorra was a bit of a milestone for me - my 50th country travelled to. I’ve been fortunate to experience many fine hotels and whilst Sports Hotel Hermitage (a member of the LHW) has glimmers of a true 5 star, the food & beverage service in particular leave it falling short. Some of the staff are great - attentive and personable - whilst others are just going through the motions. The arrival experience was not the best. The hotel car park was locked and there was no check-in/temporary parking out front. Checkin Itself was very efficient - albeit lacking an orientation on the hotel facilities, the need to download an app for hotel information/menus/etc. The room was beautifully appointed, spacious and with a great view of the slopes. As a LHW member, a welcome gift was provided - some chocolates and a bottle of olive oil. Whilst appreciated, a bottle of wine would have been more practical as can be enjoyed during the stay. The “king” bed was not a king, but two singles with no mattress topper. Housekeeping staff were excellent - always acknowledging you as you passed, and referring by name on any visits to the room. The room was serviced daily to a high standard including the turndown service. F&B is what really lets the hotel down. Bar service was consistently underwhelming - inattentive and on one occasion clumsy (oblivious to spilling wine as they poured a glass). A daiquiri was served in a dirty glass with red speckles on the inside - on drawing it to the waiters attention they initially claimed it was lemon juice. Vegetarian options at all hotel restaurants including room service are almost non-existent - the single dish of pasta with baby vegetables & poached egg consisted of almost zero vegetables and an extremely undercooked poached egg. Breakfast was inattentive - tea and juice orders forgotten, no offer to replenish your juice, extra place setting not removed, hot food sitting at the pass unserved in full view of staff. There was a good buffet selection and an a la carte menu, noting the scrambled eggs were very dry and a side order of toast was taken but not delivered. The hotel concierge is hard to find. Directed by the hotel staff to the spa next door, it is the poorest concierge experience of any hotel I’ve stayed. Enquiring as to good walking tracks, a booklet (vague on directions) was thrust into my hand with no advice forthcoming. I’ve had better experiences in my younger years in a youth hostel when backpacking.

Reviewed By 197ottobBedrooms with space and a good bathroom. Good and kind reception service. Check in and check out, good and quickly. Breakfast buffet has nice anf fresh meal to choose. In the very centre of Andorra la Vella, 2 minutes walk to city and historical centre. With a swimming pool, a sauna and a small fitness- gym. A piano bar and a space for children.

Located in the heart of Escaldes, near the Caldea spa, Inuuu and the Grandvalira and Vallnord ski slopes and a stone’s throw from Vivand, it offers infinite possibilities. Its 88 rooms, wide range of culinary and dietary options, and its unbeatable customer service will make your stay an oasis of tranquillity. Time does go by. But every second is unforgettable here.

Yes, I know, I should have booked it directly but weekendesk's offer stated a welcome gift and free bottled water which were non-existent when we arrived. Such a scam, but probably not the hotel's fault. They should check their contract with weekendesk though if they have one. Anyway, Hotel's check in time is a bit late, 16h00. I'm not sure if it is the standard check in time in that area but it is the latest check-in time I've ever had with staying in hotels. We sent a message that we arrived early but the room was not ready when we arrived, which is understandable as they cannot promise early check in. Since we arrived early, the receptionist asked us to do a pre check-in. They don't have their own parking area. You would need to pay and get a card from the hotel which will give you access to the caldea spa parking area right across the street. Pre check in was fast although I find it unecessary for them to ask for identification from all the people that are staying in the room. Usually, in all the places i have stayed in, they would only ask for one ID. But again, maybe it is standard practice in Andorra, i'm not sure. After check-in, we parked our car and walked around the city then enjoyed the caldea spa. We went back to the hotel and was greeted by a male receptionist this time. He barely spoke english and an understandable french, but he was nice. He gave us the keys to the room which was located on the 3rd floor. The room though had two single beds eventhough we booked a double. So We had to ask the receptionist to change our rooms which he quickly did. Although they never offered assistance with luggage. Usually when there is a need to change the room, hotels would usually offer luggage assistance, but it's ok as we managed. Finally got the room with the double bed, and it was ok. Functional but not well kept. A bit dirty and you could see that it needs refurbishment. I see wear and tear all over and the small mirror's extending fixture was broken. Also, the air conditioning didn't deem to work properly as it was quite warm in the room so we just opened the windows. The room had no view and wifi was not very fast. I got disconnected a couple of times Which was frustrating. We had half board, and dinner wasn't very good. Not a lot of options and the food tasted like they were frozen or came from the can and were just heated in the microwave. i don't recommend eating there. Bed and pillows were decent and we slept well. Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of sweet and salty options. Although the staff were not really as helpful as the staff during dinner time. Check-out was fast although we had to go back to return The parking card and get our deposit back. They should just give disposable parking tickets next time to lessen the hassle. Overall, it was an ok stay. You get what you paid for, but wouldn't really recommend staying there as there are other better 4 star options in the city. Although it would be a convenient accomodation if you came to andorra for the caldea spa.

Wonderful 1 week stay at ABBA siutes
Reviewed By TatjanaWhiteWe stayed for 7 nights and ABBA hotel siuts family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children 5 and 3y old. We had a half board and absolutely loved it. Nice options for breakfast and there are 2 restaurants to choose for dinner where you have a table service - Italian and Menu restaurant. At Italian there different pastas and faccacias. Menu restaurant every night have a different menu for adults and good food selection for children. We tried twice italian and other five nights menu restaurant. Hotel also provide a free shuttle to the cabel and have a free storage for skis which was super handy. There are spa for extra cost but only 16y plus. So we find another Princess Hotel Spa where we could come with children between 2 and 6pm. 5-6pm are good option. The staff in the hotel is exceptional! They always help and super friendly and made us feel as part of ABBA family! We loved our stay and cannot wait to come here again next February half term. Big shout out to Aida manager and Santos part of service staff! Thank you ABBA hotel siuts xx
