It's been memorable for everyone including my 1 year old son & 3 year old daughter.....Thanks to Renne for the attentive care & ofcourse, all the staff were full of energy & happy to help.....but Renne was Renne...he would respond to every question & go the extra mile. He knew we spoke very little portuguese. Salinas is a new home for my family...we will definitely come back here!

Avoid the food at the beach Really great team of staff, especially those looking after the kids. The ¨entertainment team¨ - if you like that sort of thing - really seem to enjoy their work and have an infectous charm. Some of the accomodation is good - if you get a renovated one, near the beach -good . Old one next to the car park - bad. Even with a renovated room though, you might find there is no hot water, and despite promises to fix it, it doesn´t get fixed and you have to change rooms. A repeated ¨feature¨here was guest services promising something and delivering nothing. The pool area seems decidedly dated. Sharp edges and all a bit ´90´s. design. Looks pretty in the photos, in close up it´s ok but nothing special. A bit late for breakfast and even in restricted capacity covid times, you might only find a couple of loungers in the dust (where there once was grass). The elephant in the room is the food. Awful. Ended up eating out. Poor variety, poor quality, poor presentation. How on earth a hotel in the north east of Brazil manages to get such poor quality fruit for breakfast is beyond me. Better fruit is available at the little market stand 200m from the hotel! Some attempts at Covid measures, but not enough. Repeatedly ran out of gloves for food service, not enough hand sanitizer, not enough staff cleaning tables, food serving area full of flies (how difficult is it to have lemon candles and ventilation?) It´s a shame really, the entertainment staff work so hard to make this a happy holiday location. Then they get let down badly by guest services who don´t have enough bedsheets, maintenance that can´t provide hotwater and a kitchen that would cause a prison revolt. The waterpark is ok for half a day of sun and junk food, but the waterpark in Fortaleza is about a million times better!

Poor food quality and service
Reviewed By mnicolau7If you read other reviews I guess it's pretty clear by now that the food and overall service are pretty poor in this place. The "all inclusive" selling point is a big charade. Cheap drinks and limited bar service guarantees you're not gonna drive up their costs. Besides breakfast, lunch and dinner, food is practically non-existant. As for the room, we didn't have hot water for 3 days. Even though we had a little baby with us and complained several times, we were only relocated after 3 days... Finally, not having internet service im most areas is a big joke... It's the 21st century guys, c'mon... I bet they'll reply to this review thanking me for the feedback and assuring they'll take it into consideration for the future. Reality is they won't do anything. The beach is beautiful and demand is high so they couldn't care less. For the amount of money you'll pay, I bet you can find something better.
