Great quality kayaks and paddleboard for hire. We paddled round for a few hours and the advice was really helpful. Would definitely recommend. Need to book in advance during summer holidays!

St. Michael's Mount

Cross the causeway where a legendary giant once walked. Follow the footsteps of pilgrims or boat hop to an island where modern life meets layers of history. Discover an evocative castle, a sub-tropical garden paradise and a close-knit island community.

Had a lovely walk over the causeway to St Michaels Mount. Really lovely grounds and plenty of amenities for the size of the island. Visited both gift shops, plenty on offer for both kids & adults. The National Trust staff members were really pleasant and gave us plenty of info before we set off upto the house. Quite a steep rocky and uneven climb to the top, handrails available in places. Great view at the top.

Out of the Blue Gallery

Reviewed By Tim H - Exeter, United Kingdom

A quaint little art gallery showing objects and paintings by many different artists. Jewellery, Ceramics, paintings and arty objects - it's all in here. There's nothing tacky in this art gallery and my wife could have spent a fortune here! Luckily I got away with just a necklace.

A very quiet time of the year but the place is so peaceful and still plenty of wildlife to see. Well located with the beach on the other side of the road and close to Marazion and St Michael's Mount.

I highly recommend this! We head out paddle boarding and it was just the best fun. Pretty easy to do and I'm saying this with a skill level of zilch. Angus was really helpful and friendly and it was very reasonably priced for an excellent morning out on the water. They had lockers to store stuff too and of course, coffee was also available. Really nice guys. Do it! :)

Marazion Beach

Reviewed By happilyretired_12 - Falmouth, United Kingdom

Over the winter months the car parking charges have been suspended by St Aubyns Estate, which is great news for visitors to Marazion.
At low tide you can still walk out on the Causeway towards the Mount, however the castle is closed to visitors due to refurbishment.
The beach is good for walking along, with or without dogs. From 1st Oct until the end of March, dogs are allowed, which is in line with many of the Cornish Beaches.
Yesterday was great for clearing the sinuses with the strong smell of seaweed. The gulls were squawking, ice cream was being eaten, the sun was shining. It was hard to believe that this was November. Pop on the boots and enjoy Cornwall off season.

We were walking through Marazion and were very surprised to find that this church was open for visitors. Architecturally, it is nothing special, but It was being stewarded by some very friendly ladies who made our visit a pleasure. Thanks to all concerned for opening this church to the public.

Avalon Art

Reviewed By Susan B - Southampton, United Kingdom

I have visited Marizion over the past 18 years as one of the members of my family purchased a place nearby as a holiday home. I became a fan of one of the featured artists in the Avalon gallery, Heather Bray, which I started to collect over the years, of which I now own 8 paintings.
Of the 8 paintings I own, 6 were purchased at the Avalon Gallery.
I haven't been down to Marazion for 2 years and have managed to get down a couple of days ago. Today I was eager to go to the Avalon Gallery, to see if there was a "Heather Bray" I could purchase. After wondering round the gallery, I didn't spot any, so I asked the owner "have you any Heather Brays" to which she replied very curtly " No " , I then adked "will you be getting any more ? " and she replied " No, she's removed them from the gallery " in a manor that made me feel, I had instigated the removal of her works.
Every time I go to Cornwall I visit Marizion, and evey time I visit Marizion I go to The Avalon Gallery, but unfortunately today will be the last time.
