Disappointing GHA hotel stay ever

Arrive on 6 June at 8pm.Check in was ok done by a lady who don’t elebrate much about the hotel.Had to wear wrist tag throughout the stay and if u lose it they will charge 50RM.The check in lady didn’t inform us about this until my helper lose her tag. After check in we took a buggy to a transit place where then we had to wait for a connecting buggy.Waited about 30min,It never came so we walk to our room.My family consists of my mum,wife,helper and 3 young kids all age below 4 years old. The best part is we waited for more than 1.5 hours for our luggage.We receive our luggage around 10.20pm.Check out was a disaster.We had to walk in the rain to transit area and wait for the buggy .I can write more about the poor service but I will stop as this in my 1st time to Avani.Heard many good reviews about this place.For me it’s disappointing. If you want to come to Avani Sepang please consider it later after their renovation.Avoids major holidays too.I think they lack manpower.This place is a lil run down.You can see crack and leaks in the room. The good thing about this place is that they have beautiful restaurants outside the hotel which are walking distance.

Reviewed By Laily SI book the villa with pool .. for the price I pay , I expected more ..no feel of luxurious. overall the pool is nice but the room is a bit run down .. window sill a bit dusty .. the furniture are old e.g. the cushion is bad. Bathroom are big and clean ..

Decent Resort, but they charge for extra water in the rooms??
Reviewed By Joel Woverall the resort is nice. landscaping is well maintained, rooms seemed to be refurbished. the carpet and pillows were extremely dusty, and caused my wife to have an asthma attack, of which we had to rush to the nearby hospital as her airways all closed up. the main thing that upset me was that they were only wiling to provide 2 extra bottles of mineral water for the room, and every extra bottle was charged at RM5 per bottle! that's daylight robbery! i had to speak to multiple managers before i reached the Executive Asst Manager Kugan. To me, this policy should never have been in place as water is the most basic necessity. and for a 5-star hotel to charge customers for extra bottles of water is extremely unbecoming and almost CHEAP. we consumers should NOT accept policies like this.

Front office staff need more training on handling guest I mean must always smile don't show stress face because u all carry hotel image...Congrate to your kitchen team & chef the food u all serve for ala carta is superb... Speghetti aglio olio, Cantonese k. Teow is awesome ?... Bfast buffet is so.. So but still value for money... Will visit u all back soon... Keep a good work... Overall 3/5.

Reviewed By Aiden LI actually stayed for 1 night. The next day, we hiked Broga Hills. It was very tiring. Although few of my friends got cut, the view at the peak is awesome. Everything was ok especially the flying fox. Fast and Scary.

WORSE HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED
Reviewed By beckybenjaminIt was our biggest disappointment that we choose to be stayed at this hotel. The only area that it looks nice is the lobby area. The lift is looks broken. The wallpaper in pealed out. As we reached our floor, the entrance of the block was with rubbish everywhere. Then we were provided with a room that with dusty and has musty smell. Tv wasn’t working. Bedsheet had dirty stains. Even the budget hotel has telephone in the room and WiFi. But this resort doesn’t have one. So I have walk back down to complain at the Front Desk. Lucky enough the technician came and tried fixing the tv but failed. So I asked if we can change room, he did assisted on that. But the story doesn’t ends there. Thinking now things will get better, we moved. The room condition was much better but this time, the air condition was not producing cold air. Lucky we had the fan working. During shower period the drainage wasn’t working, which begins to flood. Jacuzzi worked but it produced dirty stuffs or stains which only later after we had our shower we realised!! The next day, the breakfast was served at outdoor areas which was covered with flies and it was very disgusting to eat there. We couldn’t even have our coffee and tea in peace. When we spoke to the Supervisor in charge, he said things are like that here, perhaps we could fill up a complain forms that is at the Front Desk!! That’s all we get for sharing our feedback?! Hair dryer wasn’t working, I went to the Front Desk to ask if they can provide another hair dryer, the response I get “you have you use what you have it in your room” ! How can we use a spoiled Hair Dryer?!! I had to seek again and only then it was provided. Overall the service sucks! The environment needs major repair! And the authorities needs to look at the food hygiene!! It was the MOST WORSE HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED!!

Reviewed By joeni85The staff hospitality is good but the hotel needs refurbishment. Spacious room with sufficient amenities and quiet environment. Breakfast a bit disappointing where the refilling service quite slow. However, thanks to Mr. Saiful (the MOD) for his warm hospitality.
