Reviewed By Pietro Meverything was excellent, a truly fine resort. Staff is friendly and always there to help, the location and the estate is truly a marvellous (infinity pools, natural springs, excellent spa). The best resort in Ubud, Bali in my opinion.

Reviewed By RichardSeeHanging Gardens of Bali Nestled in a luscious tropical jungle on a steep slope of Ayung River river valley in Ubud is the Hanging Gardens of Bali. Formally known as the Ubud Hanging Gardens, this is one of the most beautiful resort in Bali. This all villa resort also has one of the best spas in Bali situated next to the river. Living in a villa with a private pool with stunning view feels like living on top of rainforest trees. The villas has bale that perch at the edge of the pool overlooking the valley. Guests could use the funicular to access their villas, the restaurants and the double-tiered infinity pool which is another highlight of the resort. The resort serves excellent breakfast with a wide international and local selection. The all-day dining menu is impressive too, and guests could enjoy a very relax tea-time snacks by the pool every day. It was a pleasure to meet Diana, the general manager of the resort, over lunch during my stay. We chatted extensively about Bali and the Hanging Gardens. She is so excited also to introduce us to their new resort, Elevate Bali by Hanging Gardens Munduk in Northern Bali at Singaraja. I am already planning to come back even before I leave this little piece of paradise in Bali.

Reviewed By RoyshotBooked through Luxury Escape. Took it as just another hotel to stay in. Well, The Alila I highly recommend. From the minute we arrived to the time we left we were pampered on. The staff were so obliging and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. Food was delicious from breakfast to dinner. Massages were also enjoyable. Even on the way back to the airport, our driver received a call to say that the couple that we were traveling with had left their passports in their room - we were about 45 minutes from the hotel. Our driver said "no worry" we will wait where we were and they brought the passports to us. Which other hotel would have done this. I highly recommend The Alila.

Along this serene 8 hectares rain forest domain runs The Ayung, Bali’s most sacred mountain river. In the rocks of the hotels pathways and along it’s 600 meters long riverbank fronting the Ayung Resort, 250 of the finest Balinese Stone Carvers have painstakingly worked,for over a 2 year period,to carve the spectacular Hindu mythologies, Ramayana and Mahabharata amongst others. These stone carvings have become the most sought after photo opportunity of the hotel.

Reviewed By CKFWe chose Ayung Resort because it looked like a beautiful Bali rainforest experience--and it most certainly was, from start to finish! We had arranged for Agyung's airport pickup, and that went smoothly. The friendly driver was willing to make stops along the way if we liked, but we opted to drive straight through (about 2.5 hours). The open-air lobby is a sight to see, covered in sculptures and statues. We were greeted with a welcome drink, and then learned we'd been upgraded--very nice! Our room details and hotel offerings were reviewed before the buggy (golf cart) took us to our room. And what a room! The large balcony, complete with table and chairs, overlooked the pool and the rainforest. Inside, there was a couch, chairs, dining table with chairs, a desk, and still plenty of room for luggage. There is a safe and an enormous bathroom with a separate tub. The free minibar is refilled once per day, and you can refill your water bottle at a separate location in the building. The wifi and A/C both worked well. Ayung's property is quite large and also hilly. Because of this, they have buggies (golf carts) that will take you wherever you need to go on the premises. All you have to do is call the front desk. This worked extremely well and we rarely waited more than a couple of minutes for the ride. Other offerings include a free shuttle to and from Ubud several times a day. We did take this in, but always took a cab back because we stayed later than the last shuttle (cab is about 150-200 IDR). There is free yoga each morning at 7:30 am, and a free afternoon tea at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the free rice paddy walking tour (not every day--check the schedule), even though the guide did not provide much information, just a route for us to follow him through the rice field. The infinity pool is lovely and very Instagram-worthy. The gift shop had an excellent collection of high-quality souvenirs. The dining at Ayung is fantastic. I can't say enough about the extensive and never-ending breakfast. You can order as much as you like from the menu, from fruit to pancakes to eggs to French toast. The location is serene and the view into the forest completely relaxing. We also had dinner there two nights, once with the special Indonesian multi-course set menu, and once a la carte. Both were delicious. All that said, and I still haven't gotten to the best part: the staff. Everyone at Ayung Resort went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We appreciated their assistance with arrangements for a car and driver to Denpasar on our last day. They made the trip memorable and we hope to return in the future. Thank you, Ayung Resort, for a fantastic Bali experience!

Reviewed By ashleya183We have recently returned from the Nandini Bali Jungle resort. I cannot recommend the place enough purely for their staff. Eka, Lestari, Mawar and Novi were fantastic throughout and genuinely made our stay exceptional. Nothing is too much for them and they treat you like royalty. Only negatives I would say is that there's too many animals/bugs in your room but it's the jungle so can't complain. We hope to visit Nandini again in the future.

The air conditioner is broken, hand shower is using tape and leaking. The stepping stone very sleepery, so many web. Me n kids using the pool, and the corner pool deck is broken when my 5yo daughter hold it, and there's a lot of maggots , came outside. Pool deck so stale. They should not sale this villa online.! The employees offer me other villa, without pool, it better. But still there a lack maintenance everywhere. And not clean. The don't have professional house keeper, only a lot of kids cleaning. For covid protocol, they are not using mask,no sanitizer,no hand glove and no social distance. We only stay for 2-3 hour, and decided to move to other hotel. I suggest that management focus for a few villa that well maintained to sell. Do not sale all villa, ur not even proper maintain. We know it pandemic situation, but it's very disappointed for guess.

The infinity pool was beautiful, the staff are the best, our room was lovely & balcony was great. The complimentary shuttle is available & we were even taken by shuttle to a recommended restaurant in Ubud at night. The girls in the restaurant couldn't be more helpful & friendly. The food was good but could be improved on with choice perhaps. Complimentary afternoon tea & ginger tea were a bonus. Definitely recommend if you'd like peace & quiet and don't mind being out of the hussle & bussle.

Song Broek Resort is located near holy spring water. Close to Ubud, approx 10 minutes. The rooms are built using wood to give you some sort of nature theme. This is a quiet and friendly place and strong with its cultural environment. Our neighbourhood is real Balinese who have been living there for a long time. The property provides a place to go fishing and you also can fry your catch. We will make sure you will experience something new during your stay in Song Broek. If you are type of person who want to avoid noise pollution and crowded traffic, relief it in here at Song Broek Jungle Resort. Looking forward to see you.

Beautiful resort with the infinity pool completes with the magnificent scenery. Restaurant at the top and pool side served sumptuous meals and a bonus where they have complimentary hi tea from 230pm to 4pm with local snacks for in house guest! Spa experience was excellent with almost perfect massage and treatment together with a soothing and relaxing ambience. Thumbs up?
