Reviewed By VidaLocaRanchAfter 9 hours road trip we were fortunate enough to get a room in the busy Romantic Hotel. The style fits the surroundings, the staff is friendly and the amenities are (still) ok by todays standards. The wellness area is crowded but not overrun. The wall to wall carpeting and overall decor is somewhat "dusty" and out-of-date. Allergy prone guests beware, there are dogs everywhere. The weakness is clearly the pricey food. Sadly, traditional dishes were distorted by new world "Asian" components and lacked coherence and harmony. Unsavory. Disturbing. Disappointing. The Klumpp-Himmelreich wine saved our dinner experience. Next time we'll stay away from bizarre, elaborated selections and order Wiener Schnitzel instead.

Reviewed By flebetMany of you reading this, feel you work hard, but before you have met the couple running this Hotel, you don't know what 24/7 work is. This young lovely couple are working all the time, and still with a smile, and being helpfull, making sure your stay is pleasent and you feel like part of the family. Even when we had an issue with our shower, we had a person in our room fixing it, in less than 5 min. even it was during they were serving breakfast. Worth mentioning that, the issue was not because it was old, but because it was brand new, and a "lille thingy" was not removed. Rooms are newly renovated, super nice and very clean. Wonderfull views from the balcony. Location is super, easy access to wonderfull hiking, and close drive to other attractions and hiking. Food at the hotel is very nice, they are trying to combine the "area schnitzel" with a bit of modern touch, and it is working very well. We were there during Covid-19 times, but still they make it work, and even behind the mask, you sense the smile. If in the area, this is where you shoudl stay for sure.

Reviewed By Max WThe hotel was great, but the restaurant was the highlight. Brilliant evening meal with some splendid fare and wines. The service from the staff was exceptional too. The breakfast was a bit weak, but tough to mark that down during Covid! Will certainly stop by here again in the future

Reviewed By alain bHalf board for a group of 24 cyclists in a very kitsch and clean hotel in the black forest. Marta one of the owners is taking care of everything. One of the best welcome we have had and the food was excellent with a formidable breakfast where nothing was missing. Do not hesitate to spend the night there and more as the surroundings are worth exploring.

Reviewed By Emily WLovely breakfast in the morning with the most delicious cheeses and yogurts. Hotel staff went out of their way to help me recover my credit card left there. Also very helpful with what to do in the area. Something to keep in mind... This is a family business and therefore there isn't someone on staff 24/7.

Reviewed By Alexanderbeetle57Saw this place on a walk during our stay in Munstertal and liked the look of it, so thought we'd try it for supper. We were given a very warm welcome and a wide choice of tables in a traditional German dining room. Good cold beer, a warm welcome and delicious amuse bouchée, followed by a tasty salad. Main course which was a holtzfällersteak with bratkartofeln was generous in portion but astonishingly bland and unmemorable. Friend probably did better with the goulash which was described as pleasant. Dame Blanche for pud was good. We have had some really excellent food in this part of the world and the grub at this place felt disappointingly ordinary despite nice hospitality.

Reviewed By קידן אThe guesthouse is nice and clean The rooms are a little small to what was expected from an out-of-city guesthouse The breakfast is ok, they put enough food but don't refill some of the things, so if you arrive late some things will be finished and missing (such as croissant, some types of cheese or ham) The staff is nice but speak very basic English Due to location in munstertal there is non to very little cell phone reception, there is free WIFI but it is mediocre

Reviewed By 180martijneWe were on our way to Italy from the Netherlands and spent 2 nights in the hotel. The welcome was very welcoming and pleasant. The hotel itself was very very nice and very clean. We had booked a duplex room but it was no longer available, so we were upgraded to a suite. The breakfast was fine. The area was also very beautiful and we will definitely come back here again.

Reviewed By Роман ЛОтзыв Haus Brengartner Останавливались в двухкомнатных апартаментах на втором этаже. Приятно удивило то, что размер апартаментов оказался больше, чем ожидалось. Внутри есть два идентичных санузла. Все комнаты, кухня и санузлы объединены коридором, везде есть двери - можно закрыть спальню и заниматься делами на кухне. Звукоизоляция в доме отменная, за 10 дней проживания ни разу не слышали ни соседей, ни хозяев! На кухне есть всё необходимое для комфортного приготовления пищи, холодильник, морозильник, посудомоечная машина, варочная поверхность, духовка, чайник, капельная кофеварка, миксер, набор соли, перца, специй и т.д. Посуды достаточно, чтобы включать посудомоечную машину раз в сутки на ночь. В подвале дома имеется стиральная и сушильная машины. Мария любезно разрешила нам воспользоваться ими. Удобно, что в апартаментах есть множество батарей, что облегчает процесс сушки мокрого белья после стирки или после посещения термальных источников. В доме очень тепло и комфортно, в виду того, что все материалы натуральные, то происходит естественная вентиляция помещений. В каждой комнате много розеток, в т.ч. в спальне рядом с кроватью с обоих сторон. Около кровати есть тумбочки. В гостиной можно посмотреть большой телевизор на комфортном диване, а позже его разложить и разместить на ночь ещё пару человек. Предоставляется всё необходимое постельное бельё, плюшевые пледы, накидки на шезлонги, полотенца и т.д. Интернет работает хорошо, подключение предельно простое и без ограничения по количеству подключаемых устройств. Скорость до 6 Mbit/s. Из окон открываются превосходные виды. Есть огромный балкон, который связывает две комнаты. Летом там можно лежать в шезлонге. Парковка на 4 машины прямо около дома. Дом находится в очень живописном месте. Вокруг много прогулочных троп. 5 минут на машине до продуктовых магазинов Rewe и Edeka. Менее часа езды на машине до Франции и Швейцарии. Множество направлений в самом Schwarzwald. Поблизости расположены термальные и несколько горнолыжных курортов. Развлекательный парк для детей и взрослых Steinwasen Park в 20 км, но зимой не работает. Haus Brengartner это семейный апарт-отель, хозяйка Мария и её супруг Sigi очень приятные люди. Чувствуется, что они вкладывают душу в своё дело. Находясь в апартаментах, чувствуешь приятную домашнюю обстановку. Всё сделано грамотно, мебель и оборудование современные и функциональные. По приезду на столике обнаружили бутылку белого вина из местной винодельни, а также баночку домашнего джема из ежевики. В номере много цветов и зелени и всё это живое! Из особенностей - на кухне нет микроволновой печи. - в доме предоставляются три типа апартаментов – один на уровне земли и два на втором этаже. Т.к. лифта нет и ступеней много, то, если подъём тяжестей затруднителен, то бронируйте проживание на нулевом этаже. Проживание в Haus Brengartner оставило только положительные впечатления. С удовольствием остановимся здесь ещё раз и рекомендую этот объект размещения для проживания. P.S. Спасибо Марии и Sigi за необычную встречу Нового года 2020!
