Holiday cottages somewhat overpriced
Reviewed By jmbagerStayed for one night. The hotel consists of a number of individual huts, intended for holidaymakers. The huts are fitted with a kitchenette. Based on the somewhat simple and worn interior and furniture, I would say that the hotel is overpriced. However, this is the only available hotel in town! I arrived late and did not try the restaurant, however, the breakfast buffet had all you could wish for in a nice setting.

A charming 20th century manor set just outside Leksand with a wonderful view over lake Siljan. The ambiance at the hotel reflects the peace and tranquillity of the area. All rooms are different and decorated in an individual style. Wonderful Winter Manor
Reviewed By abdinohunterWe travelled to the Dalarna region of Sweden to cross country ski in the VasaLoppet races and chose this wonderful manor for our base. They were very helpful in helping us book the best package for our trip prior to arrival and while we were there were very helpful in arranging hockey tickets and recommending places to see and things to experience. The breakfasts were excellent and dinners very creative. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Very nice place to stay close to the forest near the center of Leksand
Reviewed By DavvebieggaI spent 3 nights in a nice affordable room in the building Målargården in late February. It's a lovely and quite place close near the river and the forest, but still not too far away from the center of Leksand. My room had a private bathroom with toilet and shower and there's a common area with kitchen and dining room in the building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely choose this place again.

Ombyggd byskola i rogivande miljö. Nära till skog och sjö. Stora grönytor intill boendet, tillgång till fotbollsplan, studsmatta, gungor och ute spel.

Reviewed By Backis63Överaskande trevligt! Fräscht och fint. Vi valde ett av de större rummen. Mycket sköna sängar. Lite kallt på rummet, men det fanns ett extra element Frukosten mycket bra. Ett ställe man kommer tillbaka till. Ägarfamiljen mycket trevlig. Känns som att man kommer hem till dem.

Leksand Strand Camping & Resort is one of Swedens biggest campsites with 222 cabins and 350 campsites with electricity. We are situated by Lake Siljan's finest sandy beach and are open all year round. Our camping is open from May to September and cabins are available all year around. We have a few activities on the campsite but we recommend at least one visit to our amazing neighbour Leksand Sommarland where you can keep yourself entertained for a whole day or two (or more). Our restaurant is situated on the beach with a great view and you can enjoy a swim in our pool or play a round of adventure golf. Welcome to Dalarna!
Along the Siljan shore
Reviewed By Magnus OGreat location, great staff, great organization, great walk along Siljan into Leksand (about 2-3km), modern cabins and houses. We stayed in house Tallbacken 34 and enjoyed the view, amenities (incl sauna and wifi etc) and good standard for 6 people.

Reviewed By 943christerpMysigt B&B lite i utkanten av centrala Leksand. Små stugor utspridda i ett trevligt område, det finns även en större byggnad med rum. God frukost med något som passade alla. Toaletter och dusch i separat byggnad. Trevligt värdpar. Kommer gärna tillbaka.
