Reviewed By PeterD309Home Inn Express in Medicine Hat was a pleasant surprise. We booked the Murphy bed room and found it very clean and comfortable. The only noise was from the busy street, but closing the window solved that. The bed was firm and comfy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Our only suggestions would be a closet instead of the hooks for clothes, and side tables beside the sofa. But they were minor details. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Reviewed By Janis BOwners and management not fully aware of rules and penalties under Alberta Disabilities Act regarding Hotel guests with a service animal that was appropriately disclosed. Requesting guest to sign “Pet” damage form was inappropriate as a service animal under the Act is not a pet. Failure to sign would be deemed a refusal of accommodation which is also contrary to the Act, and makes the hotel subject to a fine of $3,000 under the Act. All the above was discussed with the manager on duty and was resolved for me. Had there been 100% compliance with Act, I would have rated my satisfaction as a 10.

Reviewed By Miss369Owners friendly and accommodating - room was spacious and neat. Few issues: air conditioning barely worked - very warm in the bedroom at times. Also, on a noisy route on Highway 1. Our biggest issue was the bathroom, the toilet was literally slanted on one side and broken toilet seat. Upon waking up in the morning - I noticed that there were hairs throughout the shower, which were not ours. There was breakfast in the morning, however we decided to leave and not stay. Cheap place to stay.

A newly renovated motel surrounded by a sprawling community. Located off highway 1. We have 6 double rooms and 20 single rooms. The 20 single rooms come with a kitchenette while the double rooms come with a full kitchen including a stove. Utensils included. Free parking included. We look forward to having you. No Wifi or TV No Smoking Pets allowed for $15 nightly fee

Best Motel in Medicine Hat for long stay

They are now our favourite hotel whenever we are again visiting the place. The rooms are really clean and spacious, with bathroom having all modern facility like tub and shower. The best thing about this property location, is that they are near to the trans-Canada highway and we didn't need to travel a lot to find the motel.

Communication was excellent and could not expect that from bigger hotel chains. The phone was shipped back to me and i felt confident and relieved knowing i was getting it back safely.
