Reviewed By diyb2025Wir hatten eine wirklich sehr schöne Zeit hier! Die Lage ist toll, wenn man mal das echte Bali fernab der Villen kennen lernen möchte. Alle Nachbarn hier sind wirklich sehr freundlich und grüßen sehr lieb zurück. Wir haben uns jederzeit sicher und aufgenommen gefühlt. Wir empfehlen einen Roller mit zu erfragen in der Unterkunft, sodass man mobil ist (hat bei uns problemlos geklappt). Zimmer und auch Pool sind einwandfrei. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, vor allem der Manager war immer super hilfsbereit und immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Zum Abendessen waren wir immer in Dapoer Chandra, was super angenehm mit dem Roller zu erreichen ist. Mit der Zufahrt zur Unterkunft hatten wir übrigens keinerlei Probleme, war gut mit dem Roller machbar (schließlich ist man ja auch hier für ein Abenteuer) und mit dem Auto ist es machbar, wenn man n bisschen offroad Erfahrung hat Vielen Dank, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen!

Taman Menjangan Homestay located at Pejarakan, it is large village but still quiet and our place feel like in the jungle which a lot of birds' voices can hearing every morning. It is only 45 minutes cross to Menjangan Island with local boat for snorkeling and 15 minutes drive to Bali Barat National Park.

This little oasis is on a back street surrounded by farms full of pigs, chickens, and cows in the cute little village that takes you to Menjangan island. Putu, the owner, was so accommodating from start to finish from all the emails sent back and forth. He offered to pick us up from where we were staying about an hour away and drop us off after our time there. His driver was just as delightful as Putu and both of them spoke excellent English. Putu just finished completing two of three rooms, one was a master bedroom with a cool outdoor shower and the other was a little smaller room with an inside shower. There is a quiet air conditioner and basic essentials provided, such as towel and body wash. There is a nice patio with a table overlooking the hand-planted garden where we were served a simple, but delicious breakfast by Putu and his family consisting of fresh-cut fruit and a choice of either an omelette and toast or a local dish called Banana Japle, which resembled a panini pressed sandwich with banana inside and a drizzle of some kind of dark molasses flavored sauce on top. So good! Tea and coffee in cute tea pots were also provided. Putu arranged all of our tours and everything went very smoothly. He is a very kind, genuine, and warm-hearted person that we are very happy to support! If you want the true Balinese experience, stay here! We would have stayed longer, but had previous engagements.

Here are 4 double bungalows, with aircon ((2 with TV) and a 2 bedroom Cottage , all with a private terrace and garden - truly lovely rooms in the generous gardens of Warung Kejora - a large restaurant with bar, pool and roofgarden, . Each room has a furnished Terrasse in its own gardens, and the cottage, a large garden and dining terrace. Soft lawns to relax in also surround the pool, next to the restaurant and poolside bar, overlooked by the Rooftop gardens. With near access to the local harbour for Menjangan Island, we are popular for snorkellers and divers, and have a Divecentre, run by an SSI Divecentre from Pemuteran. Surrounding us is just countryside, tiny farms, temples - West Bali national park is just around the corner. We are over 1km tfrom the main road, and far from any large town; you can sleep well here.

Reviewed By rudybaliRoom is nice, we came in new normal condition not much guest but still service is OK, room is very clean, amenity is good, the outdoor bathroom is something, awesome. Pak Gatot is very helpful and we are really enjoyed staying in Batu Ampar. Location is very easy to find.

Very clean and nice, but average stay
Reviewed By 9FreeOpinion2Positive: The Local Menjangan is a very neat spot, not far from the resorts and the bay. You can rent a bycicle or a scooter to get there. The rooms are super clean, the bathroom with the open roof is amazing !! Very nice. Breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve had in Asia so far. Negative: you can’t really get a good night sleep. You sleep next to a farm and the roosters start yelling at 3 o’clock in the morning !!! Also, we didn’t feel very welcoming. We arrived later than expected because we had a 6-hour delay from our ferry in Java and when we arrived at the Guesthouse, it was pure silence. Nobody was home. Which is weird if you expect guests that day. Our taxi driver had to call Putu, the owner/manager. Also, apparently, Putu is a guide in the national park. He didn’t even mention this to us, even after we said we’d like to go there. I read the other reviews and he always helps the customers out to get a nice deal and we simply get ignored. This is why I think this place deserves an average score.

Slice of paradise! Hidden gem!
Reviewed By EnviroGal19Took a side trip out of Ubud and randomly booked this place...the best decision we made on our trip in Bali! Stayed here for a few days and wish we could stay more. We felt like we had our own slice of paradise! The hotel is nestled among beautiful tropical plants, the room is clean and spacious, we loved the outdoor bathroom and most importantly our host Suri was so kind and helpful. She helped us arrange activities, gave us local tips, and made sure our stay was comfortable. She made us breakfast every morning (toast, omelette, tea and bananas). The place is a half hour walk to the beach (worth it!), and a 10 minute drive to the hiking activity. Would definitely recommend, and hope we can go back soon!
