Really comfortable and impeccably clean room. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Room was well equipped, small and compact but had everything you need. Very convenient to many restaurants and easy parking. Filtered drinking water was an added bonus.

Little Gem In Paeroa

Thank you Dale and Ivan for a wonderful stay!! I stayed here with 2 friends for 2 nights solely to be close to a festival in Waihi. We were all blow away with how clean and modern the motel is. The photos do not do this place justice. There is also a lovely back decking area with a BBQ to relax after a long day at the beach. The rooms are spacious and have kitchen appliances you may need including free tea and coffee. The location is actually perfect, within walking distance to Paeroa but only a 20-30 min drive to waihi beach. Heaps of walks/stop offs on route too. Lastly the hosts Dale and Ivan are just wonderful human beings, the communication and professionalism from the start to the end. Really helpful. I've stayed in accom all over the world and it really does make a difference when you recieve such great hospitality. We will definitely be back!!

The Villa B & B

Quiet, lovely, couldn't fault at all.

Reviewed By HeidiROC

We were just here one night and everything about this B and B more than met our needs. Lovely treats and breakfast. Friendly host. Beautiful back garden. We wondered if there'd be road noise - there wasn't. The walk into town for dinner was great. Handy to the InterCity bus stop if that's how you travel. Highly recommend.

It also includes a unique organic breakfast using produce from the property. The South Wing has its own separate toilet, and a bathroom with shower and a relaxing bath. Not value for money

The room was upstairs with two separate bedrooms and a shared toilet and bathroom. Perfect setup for two friends biking. However, the bed was musty and the queen was hard. The bathroom vanity had had two taps replaced with a mixer and patched and the bowl had multiple cracks in the base. Breakfast is not cooked but continental, nice with homemade preserves and freshly squeezed juice. The cost $70 each. House is very tired with wallpaper coming off and needs a good spruce up. Hosts very hospitable

Let's start with the good points ... Room was clean Bed was comfortable New carpet Negative points ... No hot water, ran the shower for 10minutes, no hot water, had a cold shower! Nasty! The pressure was good but watch out for the shower curtain sticking to ya! There was no 'new' soap in the shower, we found a used piece of soap with hair stuck to it, gross. Luckily we took our own shower gel. Nasty longlife milk in the fridge, not very generous with tea/coffee selection. Curtains didn't go all the way to the top of the windows so orange street light came in all night. Some areas of this room need a good tidy up ... will post photos. Price was average, $145 for a family room.

Kulwinder, such a friendly and flexible host for a classic venue in a Fine Lil Town

Reviewed By Mel W

We were 2 sets of Mother'n'Daughter exploring Paeroa - from modern music to family history. Venue was well situated - easy to find, good and central with parking at the very door. Nice surprise to be upgraded, as the proprietors continue their modernisation. Appreciated the distinctive style AND the classic kiwi woollen blankets in the cool weather. Excellent firm mattresses, luggage stands and ..interesting coffee tables. Also grateful for flexibility with the checkout time. Only improvement suggestion might be softer lighting above the bathroom mirror to soften the look of a Good Night Out...

Paeroa House B&B

Great B & B, fantastic hosts

Reviewed By L_DTravellers

This B & B was super close to town (5 min drive) and such lovely hosts. We had both the downstairs and the upstairs booked. Plenty of room, and very clean. Nice Touches like turning on the heaters while we were at dinner. Nice orientation of the space, and offered to give us ideas of where to eat for dinner. Would definitely recommend, without hesitation. Breakfast preserves were lovely too. Thanks!
