Wonderful selection of herbs organised well and informative. Only open on certain days, check website for details. Brilliant courses on herb garden design given by Jekka herself, and now cooking with herbs available. Lovely coffee shop with refreshments and herbs for sale on open days, including seeds and original prints, cards and graphics by Hannah, Jekka's daughter. Very inspiring. come and linger.

Me and my friend Sophie had such an exciting and fun visit here! Angel was fantastic and told us all about the Llamas... they were so calm and friendly and with the coffee and homemade biscuits at the end we really felt at home by the end of the time there! Would definitely recommend for something different to try.

Thistledown Café and Campsite - award-winning camping and wood-fired food set in 70 acres of Cotswold AONB

Reviewed By EzekielBracegirdle - Kempsford, United Kingdom

This is a campsite. Recently camped at Thistledown Farm. First class experience. The facilities are very good and the staff could not be more helpful. I did have a problem finding the place - but that might be due to my 8 year old son's inexperience with satnav. The on site cafe is also excellent - food is great. I am not a vegetarian but my family and I ate veggie food in both visits out of choice because it was so good.

Elton Farm Maize Mazes

Elton Farm Mazes incorporates 3 themed maize mazes covering 12 acres and the activity maze covering 1 acre. Within each maze there is a quiz to complete, lookout towers and endless paths to get lost within. The activity maze includes many activities including a spiders web, balancing beams and a climbing wall to keep the children entertained for hours. At the maze site there are plenty of picnic benches, many courtyard games and hot/cold drinks and snacks.

The entrance is a little dishevelled and looks as if it would benefit from a spruce up but that aside the Activities Maze was truly excellent fun. We did it as a group of adults and older teenagers and had an absolute blast. You definitely need to wear old clothes and be happy to get a little grubby but it was such good fun. We did not stop laughing from the time we climbed up the first tower to the moment that we slid down the slide on the last obstacle. A great way to spend a few hours.

We went rasberry picking here and had a great time- the owner also grew strawberries, blueberries... A really homely local farm andn nursery! We felt that alot of love and passion had gone into the space and having a wide variety of quality garden plants at a very fair price. I strongly recommend visiting and supporting this place! We thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to be back!
