When you drive this far north you will want a break. Be sure to make a stop in for a visit. It has a small museum with things that are in good shape for being antiques. There are some awesome stuffed critters that you never see in a zoo. Rather amazing to see them up close. They have an area with local art for sale, plus books, crafts and knick knacks. As well as a place to sit & have a picnic lunch inside out of inclement weather. Its good for a washroom break if necessary.
There are a multitude of brochures of this area and Northern Alberta. The lady that assisted us was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
Its small but still spent more than a hour looking around and Reading stuff.
