Reviewed By Andini AIf you would like to spend few days in Samarinda city and looking for a low budget but nice one. I can recommended this guest house. Start from 170K rupiah with twin bed, air conditioner, and tv! This guest house also very close to shopping mall and mahakam river. Looking forward to stay here? You can book online as well :)

Unexpectedly excellent
Reviewed By pdmancsI hadn’t intended to stay at Bumi Segah - I had a booking for a different hotel - but my local friends suggested that I stay here instead. It was a good call on their part for my two nights. A little more expensive than the competition, but definitely a considerable upgrade. Extremely comfortable room with everything you might need, including a bath, hairdryer, iron & board, and bathrobe. WiFi was pretty good, staff were lovely, and breakfast choices were ok (mostly Asian). The hotel took care of an early morning (5.30am) transfer to the airport for me so I didn’t have to rely on local taxis or Grab. It’s a small town and off peak travel can be an issue. It came at a price (Rps 200k), but it was worth it for peace of mind. Only downside for a Westerner like me was its location next to the mosque. The early morning call to prayer, around 4.30am, was incredibly loud, and continued for an hour. No need for an alarm clock.

Something is missing
Reviewed By Cerote1001We spent a couple of nights at the lodge in the upper king suites. The view there is stunning. The general staff is friendly and ready to explain anything about the conservation station. The food is good. But you could do more of the place. The welcoming warmth experienced somewhere else is missing.
