Reviewed By Mira GSmall pleasant hotel. The rooms are pretty simple and functionally equipped. Beds are comfortable. And the rates are very reasonable (29Eur/single room with breakfast). Would recommend and will stay again next time visiting Zeitz.

Family and very good hotel and Zeitz
Reviewed By Rodrigo MThis a italian family and a very good hotel when you visit Zeitz or Lipzig. The italian family will make delicious italian dishes like Risotto Fruto di Mare and a Primavera Penne. The pizzas are delicious too. For me, Brazilian with Italian descendent, I felt at home.

Reviewed By Brad TFirst of all, Zeitz isn't booming like it did at some time. And the hotel Max has had to cut back. The hotel is old, so am I; it works, so do I. It needs some help. No Lunch or Dinner in the well-appointed dining room that must have been hopping in better days. There was an awesome restaurant 2-3 minute walk away. Now for Breakfast. €8 for not much. I am Gluten and Lactose Intolerant. They did have Gluten Free Bread, as most stores in Europe do a good job with that. I didn't get a lot. They made scrambled eggs for me, but I could have enjoyed a bit more on my plate. The Jams/Jellies were good, although small selection. The cheeses and sliced meats looked tired. I went away a bit hungry. It is eastern Germany after all. They seemed shocked that I didn't drink coffee nor tea. Never have. Room was comfortable, TV worked, WiFi worked. Price could have been a few Euros lower for a solo traveler, staying more than a day or two. I went for a Genealogy purpose, and that was satisfied.

Sehr preiswerte Unterkunft
Reviewed By Steffi PWer 2 Sterne bucht darf nicht 5 Sterne erwarten. Ich suchte eine preiswerde Unterkunft und buchte ein Zimmer in der Pension Tiamo. Ich hatte ein großes, sauberes, einfach eingerichtetes Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick auf das Schloss "Moritzburg". Und obwohl das Zimmer zur Hauptstraße raus ging, war es echt leise. Das Bad war "über den Flur", aber direkt neben meinem Zimmer. War bei DEM Preis aber voll in Ordnung. Die Buchung war problemlos, die Leute vom Hotel waren sehr nett. In der Nähe gibt es diverse Restaurants und einen Snack bekommt man im Erdgeschoss.

Cheap And Cheerful
Reviewed By tezpilSet the sat nav to Nicolaiplatz 10 and it'll get you right outside, mine didn't accept number 11 but 10 is good. We were greeted on arrival and shown our rooms and asked about breakfast. We passed through the restaurant which remained quiet throughout our stay. The restaurant was rather cluttered of bits and pieces including some old motorbikes with a few more out in the yard. The Pension is a separate building to the restaurant and has a separate access up some steps at the back. It was reasonably clean but did lack some basic facilities. We booked a twin room but were given a larger room with separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen so that was a bonus but the kitchen only had minimal cutlery and a couple of plates a microwave and fridge and kettle. For the price we paid this was a bonus. The flooring was poorly laid laminate with some gaps in it so it needs a bit of finishing off but if you're not fussy it was basic roomy accommodation. Parking is free but is on the street outside. It seems to be a quiet area so this was not a problem. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast down in the restaurant.
